Renaming Conquered cities
maybe we should rename all conquered cities so the other cives really get errased from from History.
Also the advanced tribe Kahun might be up for a new name(maybe a specific one so we know it's in the middle of the American territory and has to survive on its own.)
Reading "La divina comedia" from Dante is kinda inspiring
I'll put all names here listed so future president can always make use of them if needed/wanted
(I really like some of the names very much... )
City names for new cities and conquered cities (these names are being used)
Inferno
Purgatorio
Paradiso
Doomed Souls
Fallen Angels
Heretics Village
Charon's Barge
Styx
Hell's Gate
Demon's Claw
Acheron (woe),
Cocytus (wailing),
Lethe (forgetfulness),

"Peace Pipe Refused"(for near America)
"Stolen Rifles"(for near America)
"Troy"(for near Greece)
"Xerxes"(for near Greece)

If we are into the Divine Comedy we surely must have the city of Dix!
Also, we can use various names for the underworld:
Greek:
Rivers of the Underworld,
Acheron (woe),
Cocytus (wailing),
Lethe (forgetfulness),
Phlegethon (fire)
Tartarus: Underworld below Hades; often refers to Hades.
Also the source of the appellation 'Tartar' given to the Mongol Hordes.
Hebrew:
Gehinnom, valley where the Hebrews used to burn pagan idols.
Sheol, place where the dead remain.

In the Apache Province (against the Americans) let us name cities "Little Big Horn", "The Black Hills", "Broken Arrow", "Peace Pipe Refused", and "Stolen Rifles".
In the Persian Province (against the Greeks), let us name them "Troy", "Xerxes", and "Athene's Tomb".
In the Gaullic Province, let us name them "Scotti, "Helivetica", "Germanicus", "Salted", "Styx", "Vertigorix", and "Pagan".
Just some thoughts...

I wondered if they had different names for some of the characters in other languages.

Not quite:
Kost -- un -- rix
Kost: costs
un: a
rix: Dutch slang for FL 2.50, a coinsize from the good old pre-euro days.
(About 45 Belgian franks)

Good compilation, President Shade! I think we have enough to go on for the rest on the game. And if we run out, I'm sure we'll think of new ones.
Now, can we please get the game going again? It seems it has been a while since the last session. I am anxious to see us make progress against the decadent Romans and the over-confident Americans (from their victory over the Indians).

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't our esteemed President waiting on said reports before playing? Perhaps our most worthy Science Minister would enlighten him with a Science Report?

"Atomant's Hell" will be the new name of Rome.
Feeling beter?

History will not forget atomant, as long as atomant continues to write history
On that note, are you still interested in writing the history posts? Your first few were hilarious and a great read I look forward to seeing future installments. (and if it would help you to get motivated, I would happily petition President shade to carry out his promise to rename Rome after you )
