Considering they take about 3 minutes to make, at most, and I only change it about once a month, option 2 is clearly false. And I'm not gay, just a creative writer/poet/actor kid!

And I suppose I have to explain this to you since you're English, but over here we wash our hair in the shower, which requires it getting wet and rather messed up in the process of adding shampoo and conditioner.
