Nah, Demo is a far superior government to Despotism. In ANY Civ game.

Hehe. True, but who has more power?
Besides, many emperors through history have presided (no pun intended) over systems closer to monarchy, say, than despotism.

Who uses Despotism, even in MP? Even Monarchy is better. Wait... we can't talk about Civ, this is Apolyton.

But Apolyton isn't a democracy, as the mods are more than eager to point out.
If despotism works for Apolyton, who are we to argue?

So..the link in user 15's profile is gone now. Guess someone with mod/staff powers got offended
Just as well, though. It was a bit too much for Apolyton. Believe me.

Well, you know DC this could be one of the questions for the next Trivia contest... you'll make me famous
|
Maybe ...
I thought of a few more questions after I gave the list to Dan
Namely: What color were the forums default pre-1999
answer: (GRAY)
What were the off topics named before they were combined?
(CTP-OT), (Civ-OT) [or something of that nature]
[note: save this thread for the 10 year anniversary ]

You aren't going to catch anything if you fish with your breath. I might though.

you missed it when DanQ came by and fixed it by replacing :pride: with :trophy: so that when you use :trophy: you get
he also added the :ana: smiley at the same time, but unfortunately :ana: doesn't work and gives you
edit: changed as per CPs post below.

No, I have not yet resolved the technical difficulties with the dancing banana smilie, but (unfortunately) there have been more pressing matters to deal with recently.

Thanks for the response DanQ. I believe I can speak for all of us users who understand that at the present there are much more pressing manners to deal with!

Whoever made the smilie neglected to make the corners transparent.

If we NEED some special smilie I'd be willing to help with the graphics. I kinda liked doing those civGroups icons. They were a nice change of pace.
I don't necessarily want to get swamped with stupid smilies, but I could see us needing a Ming smilie.
