There was a Battle of Britain scenario. I'd really like to see a WWI scenario about Africa or Asia though.

The battle of Britain scenario was made by Dan Saccavino and was quite good considering that it was made prior to events being available!
Misc. Aspects of WWII not covered in detail in any scenario:
Battle of the Atlantic
The Finnish-Soviet Winter War with Allied intervention on Finland's side!
The Burma-Malaysia-India jungle campaigns
The Balkans 1941
Battle for France, including Dunkerque
Battle of the Bulge!
The battles for Malta
Operation Torch
Conquest of Denmark and Norway (April,May 1940)
Invasion of Poland in 1939
The fall of Germany (full scenario from D-Day to May 1945)
Most of these appear as a number of events in the Global scenarios but are often lost in the scale of a global game.

Nemo, are you almost done with Version 1.4? I haven't played Red FRont in like a month because I wanted to be sure it didn't give me that too many units crap again. You said last week you'd be done in a week, so...?
I'm not trying to rush ya, just wondering. I've got a lot of school-related stuff to do anyways; I guess that's more important.

I don't think the rise of the Chinese Communist Party was covered. It can be a good topic for a quest-driven scenario. Play as Mao and start from 1927, go through the Fall-Harvest Uprising, the establishment of Jing-Gang Mountain base, the civil war, the Long March, Anti-Japanese war (WW2), and finally gain control of mainland China. The game wins if you send out a satelite which can broadcast 'Red is the East' (a song specifically used in China for praising Mao).

It would be tough to do anything simulating the rise of Hitler on a European scale, but I thought it would be cool to have a Spartacus type scen with quests and things that will eventually lead to the chancellor position .
That could be fun.

Djugashvili:
I had a setback this week-end (HD crash) but recovered with no data loss just many wasted hours hacking away at it.
Version 1.4 is being testplayed right now and has not delivered "Too many units" yet.
It still is close to the maximum (I'm guessing the max is 2048) The strategy that the human player uses, creates varying numbers of German units. Agressive counter-offensives in 1941 definitively increases the number of German units and the risk of unit overflow, but so far no problem. By the winter of 1941-42 the Soviet counterstrikes and the German's knack for stacking units in piles of 4 quickly gets you out of the "danger-zone".
Version 1.4 new features:
More new units (T-28, 76mm AT gun, Hetzer, King George V class BB, Motorized Labor brigades, US infantry, M4A3 Shermans...)
A few new cities
Many new events
US direct intervention in 1944
Some changes to the tech tree
Some changes to city improvements (Temple, cathedral, colosseum, courthouse)

A couple of questions concerning WW2 scenarios...
a) is there an area or a theater in WW2 that is not yet covered in a civ2 scenario?
b) is there a chance that the WW2 topic could ever become boring?
c) is anyone interested in what actually happened, why it happened, and what happened before and after WW2?

Well, there hasn't been a scenario about the conquest of France and the Low Countries, but that would be really boring. Somebody could make a better Afrika scenario, though, and there's only one Italian Scenario. What about the Battle of Britain? Might be interesting.
And I do think WW2 scenarios would grow boring if they all ended up with Allied victory. If the axis have a chance to win, then it might be fun...
About the third point, SURE!! Make a scenario about the Rise of Adolf Hitler, or the beginning of the Cold War. It would take some ingenuity to make it fun, but it would be interesting to see something new for a change.

I did start a WW2 scenario about Holland and Belgium, but I accidently formatted my hard disk and lost all my Civ data, which I`m still replacing to this day.

Captain Nemo:
Have you tested if the 'double defense against move>1' flag really works in RedFront? In '2194days' the red guard doesn't seem to have double defense against SS troopers. Rumour says that the flag only works if the attacker has ht=10 and move=2 .

Labor Brigades get tractors/bulldozers in 1943 so they move faster than the regular labor brigades (To speed up the Soviet industrial build-up and make travel to remote locations to settle cities less tedious...) My experience is that adding move points does not improve their "working" ability.
I will test the double defense against move>1 and let you know. Thanks for the tip.

I'll be ready to make a scenario about the battle of Deutsch-Ostafrika if someone will do it together with me! The colony (today's Tansania) was held until 1917, while its military troops held out until the end of the war.
"About the third point, SURE!! Make a scenario about the Rise of Adolf
Hitler, or the beginning of the Cold War. It would take some ingenuity
to make it fun, but it would be interesting to see something new for a
change. "
I was rather thinking of things like the Weimar Republic.

A scenario about Deutsch-Ostafrika? Really? There is not a single one about that I believe... If you need help Stefan I would love to help. Do you have a map already? Or units and maps of Deutsch.-Ost ?
S.th. else; I will send you my, I hope final, report on Pharaon before this friday. Sorry for not saying anything in the last time I was quite bussy.
