Ah, okay. The OVA has four episodes, though. Only two per DVD, but four in total.

Of all anime, I've always thought evangelion to be slightly better than mid-tier, at least according to my preferences. I know it's one of the most popular, but not for me. Way too choppy.
I stopped watching Princess Miyu TV in the middle (fairly rare for me). I'm happy to know that the OAV was much better.

--"I am still downloading the second 2"
They're on DVD you know ^_^
--"I stopped watching Princess Miyu TV in the middle"
I didn't even get past the first DVD. The OVAs, on the other hand, are quite good.
--"I put NGE below such shows as FCLC, Cowboy Bebop, and Trigun"
I agree with you on the first two, but not the last. Trigun just didn't do it for me at all. Way too melodramatic (in the strict sense; the good guys are really, really good and the bad guys are really, really bad), one of the least interesting and least sympathetic villans ever, a non-ending if ever there was one. It has some good moments, but overall really isn't worth it.
Oh, yeah. Wanted to mention that Haibane Renmei disc 1 is being released tomorrow.

FLCL.
This is a great, yet short anime (6 episodes), which is completely funnily insane. It has been done by the same studio as Evangelion, but is completely different from Eva, despite a few Easter Eggs (and a few mecha battles).
A worth see. Probably the best "insane" anime I've seen

Apparently, I can live in a right and wrong world just fine. Trigun's one of my faves.

I think the first 7 or so episodes of Trigun are great. Episodes 8-9 are completely terrible, and then the show becomes "only" good. I don't know, I like Wolfwood- Japanese silliness in how they see religion and all- but the actual plot sections were a bit underwhelming, plus the insurance girls went from being amusing semi-antagonists to Vash's cheerleaders, which is no fun.
Vash also seemed a bit slow to pick up on Legato's lesson, but ah well.

--"Wolfwood and Vash are more so"
Wolfwood's the only interesting character on the show. That's the problem ^_^
Although Ooki-nee-san had her moments as well.
--"Vash also seemed a bit slow to pick up on Legato's lesson, but ah well."
Vash is slow to pick up on any lesson. The static nature of his character is part of why I don't like the show. That and that it goes out of its way to push its message, at the expense of an actual ending to the show.

I've just finished Crest of the Stars. It's a slow tempo series, but is really good with character development. Recommended.
I'm also watching Initial D, Please Teacher, and Tokyo Underground.
