Does anybody have a lot of free time...
...to devote to making units for The Rise And Fall of The Soviet Union??
I would LOOOOOVE to have a partner for this project because it will take me no less than a year to finish it by myself, and I'm not that patient.
I'm not talking just about units, here, but that's the part I'm least certain about. I think I can handle everything else, but I want my art to match and be original, and I NEED a partner to do this.
Any interest, please see the thread about this topic.
You could be your Alex to my Captain Nemo! Althogh Nemo does do alot of his own units... but you get the idea!

I do have quite a bit of time. We're doing history in school now, so I don't have to do that much at home
I'm not the best units maker, but I can give it a shot. Just tell me exactly what you want me to do.

D, actually, I could make a few units to test my new art skills. So far, units for Rising Sun are looking great!

Hmm...
You could try making a fighter/bomber-looking biplane kinda like the ones from the MPS ww1 scenario, Nick. This might be tricky, but it would be a test of your ability!

Could anybody please draw me a decent-looking deer terrain icon? All the ones I can find are to ametuer-ish and/or cornball. If you have the allterrain file downloaded, please try to make the icon look like it was cut from the same cloth as that black bear icon with the fish in it's mouth.
Thank you.

Hey Dijugashvili, why don't you draw your own stuff? Judging by your registry date and your number of posts, you have more free time than anyone on these forums. Maybe if you didn't waste all your time in the off topic talking about your failed communist friends and how much you hate children's games, you could open up a paint program and make yourself useful for once.

Yeah, your right. I'm a parasite, I know.
I guess I can give it a shot, but...well, we'll see. I do probably have more free time than the whole lot of ya, and I should be using that time to make my own icons. Thanks.

Wow, it worked! I took an hour off from the forums and actually made myself a pretty decent-looking grassland icon. It's amazing what you can do with a litle elbow grease...

Use the deer icon from "End of the Bronze Age" and be sure to situate it in a forest. It looked pretty good to me, otherwise I wouldn't have "borrowed" it. (God knows from where!)
