Bug? Problem with Science Slider
Running PTW - 1.27. Despotism but I don't think that matters. It seems that even though I reduce my Science allocation, the very next turn it is back where it was, causing me to have to change it each and every turn.

What gives?

I'm guessing you're playing a mod - perhaps DYP. Some mods provide for a minimum allocation of funds among the player options - an unmodded game shouldn't be doing this to you.

I think technically it is a maximum even though I said minimum -- there's an option in the rules editor to set a maximum science spending rate. If the max is 50% and your luxury slider is set at 10%, you've effectively got a minimum 40% treasury rate (although you could devote the remaining spending to happiness if you chose).
