Nice example. I'm assuming no unit bribe since i see all the single orange pike in those fortresses.

Fun game last night rah and Barano... pretty even. At least we got started at a reasonable time for change (not by your standards, but by mine)
Thanks...

Yeah, even with the extra people. I was impressed.
But it worked out good.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to give any projected time prior. It would be tacky to borrow the wife's cell phone while she's driving us home to check on the status of a game start time.

Hey RAH -- Sorry to troll but this has been bugging me.
The Roman numeral for 49 can be expressed much more easily as IL (vs. the XLIX used in the thread title).
By the principle of parsimony, I would think IL would be preferred. But somehow XLIX looks more "Roman"...
Did you look this up, or just "follow the format" from previous threads?

Actually I checked out a site and XLIX was the preferred conversion.
You may try it yourself at either site listed below.

Relatives in town from California combined with my massive depression over spending several months romping thru fantasy baseball only to get creamed by Imran in my first play-off game makes for a slim chance I can make it Friday. I'm very sad I'll be better next week

Ouch, to Imran no less. My sympathies.
Maybe we can make you an honorary Chicagoan.

That is tough Berz... In our playoffs, I beat Goob in the first round, and I'm up 14 to 2 against Bloomy in the semi's... but as you know, anything can happen on the weekend...
JR - Yes... supplies would be helpful
rah - normal time for ordering the pizza?
