going back to the population curve argument...that doesn't take into account people who have died before reproduction age (especially infant deaths) which would give a rather large boost to the number of humans who have died.

I must have either freakishly small forearms or too-large feet, because each of my feet is as long as its respective forearm.
I don't think I ever noticed that before. And when I first read the post, I was thinking "BS."

The average star is much smaller, older and dimmer than the sun.
1 teaspoon of neutron star matter outweighs a train.
No White dwarf can have a mass greater than 1.44 solar masses.

More Wierd Facts
Most of these are from the New Scientist magazine. I remember reading them in the print edition, but I can't seem to find them in their online archives:
The placebo effect has been observed and documented in laboratory rats. Really. Lab rats given placebo treatments get better faster then a control group.
Placebos disguised as name-brand aspirins are more effective than placebos labeled as generic aspirin. Think about that one for a while.
Seismographs can detect all kinds of things, not just earthquakes. Some stations in Great Britian detected the crash of an F-16 jet during training. These seismic records have been used in forensic investigations.
Most psychologists and cognitive scientists now believe that conscious thought is just an illusion. Rather than deciding what to do, consciousness only justifies actions after they happen. Higher brain functions always activate after signals get sent to muscles.

No but some years ago a british tv network proposed a sitcom about Adolph Hitler and Eva Bruan to be titled "Heil Honey, I'm, Home!"
Edit lloked it up: They actually made 8 episodes and showed one.

I recall my Astronomy prof. saying a tea spoon of neutron star would way more then all the people in the world because it was so dense. A neutron star is after all a star which almost became a black hole but instead just partially clapsed in on itself.
