I'm having a problem with MedMod

I've installed the MedMod, 1.1 patch, and modswapper all right. I've also changed the debug slic to No. But when I start to play the game, either the mod or original, it crashes after the intro. In the past, before I installed the mod, I've had problems with the game suddenly crashing, but at least I was able to play a few turns. Anyone know what is going on?

OK, I feel stupid. I changed the wrong debug slic. At least I went back and switched it back to Yes and was able to start a game. I got as far as seeing my 2 little settlers appear on the map, only for the game to crash with the message:

Unable to find the file 'Aristocracy.TGA'

So I still need some help.

OK. Well, it looks like I found the answer in the archives. My picture files didn't unzip where they should have and I had to manually move them. I've played a couple turns, and things are going well, no error messages. I just hope I don't run into my usual crashes now.
