Choose an apolitical career for Dracon...
right now I'm doing politics... but I don't like it's tendency to a)corrupt, b)disillusion, and c)cause terrible pains in the arse...
So please, choose a career path that might be more comfortable for someone who's getting so much politics he can barely sit down anymore...

nothing more than cool edit pro and a bit of multitrack recording... but the reason I put that up there is there's a good course on it near me...

Sound Engineer if you want to get away from politics.... the other choices aren't apolitical.

Lack of information makes an informed choice difficult but I'll recommend teacher since that is most likely to result in steady employment.

teaching's pretty good, especially since with an Aussie passport you can get a job doing it most anywhere in the world even without any real training...

Teaching is rarely apolitical.

Oops... I forget to include a banana option in the poll as per OT tradition...
I could go and work for United Fruits... but that's more political than you could possibly imagine... just ask Chomsky

by the way, aside from the apoliticalness or not, I strongly advise against becoming a sound engineer. Theones I know are all self-asorbed a'holes.

Have you even worked in government yet?
If you want to make a difference, try local government.

The Chinese believe that the 19th level of heck is reserved for bad teachers - those who try to impress their interpretations of ideas onto their pupils.
Of course, no-one's ever talked about what happens after you get to the 19th level of heck, so I'll assume it is either a) eternal or b) nonexistent.
