XX Century Scenarios.......
ok guys, ive had it up to here (hand 8 ft above ground) with the WW2 scns
there are like 11 or so on CSC
ok where are my modern warfare scns!!???
why havent i seen a Desert Storm or Allied Force scn that was worth a penny??
Korean War??
how about someone do a Coldwar scn that is better than mine?? i suck a scn creation, cmon lets get some of you WW2 designers in on the modern world!!!
hey nemo (and others working on WW2) , your creation skills are great, but i think that the Red Front has made a great ending for the WW2 craze in Civ2 history
the best is here, and no one can beat it
let us go on to newer UNtouched subject areas -- places where IMPROVEMENT is nessasary
like the modern age
just a suggestion
any comments??

which reminds me...every time I play a bit of your Cold War scenario it crashes. No clue why, maybe you answered before and I missed it.
Anyway, I think it's because it's just harder to simulate wars other than WWII and there is frankly just less interest in it.

Acutally, I see red front as a new beginning in WW2 scenario design. A new golden age if you will. It has raised the bar for all that follow.
BTW: I was planning to do my Korean War scenario over again in ToT.

Why haven't I seen a WWII scenario that was worth a penny? Okay, Microprose's was worth two pennies but other than that.

Because you're not supposed to sell your scenarios to anyone. They are all free.

I've made a scenario about Yougoslavia (You'll find it in my home page). I think that's it's difficult to simulate nuclear wars because AI don't use it well. If you attack the first you win !!! It may be an explication f the absence of good post-WW2 scenarios.

Hmmm... Might make you crazy that I'm doing Persia again, but I was thinking about a scenario on Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlevi (1941-1979). Or the Iran-Iraq War (1980-1988). Might give you guys a clue on the recent disorders in Iran.

DarthVeda, I am continuing my scenario, since you never told me anything about our team effort, sorry.
Korean War with Nemo as the author...the possibilities are endless, as are the turns.

Yes, and not be rude, but the words in no way state that.

correct, the words stated were not intended to sound that way, but their syntactic (structural) value lead me to think you were saying that
and i dont consider you rude, its all friendly conversation here
