This is a nice feature. It can feature pithy little quotes or riddles, but it's just swamped with Trekkie drivel. I've just been informed "The deflector shields just came on Captain". What am I supposed to think about? Reminiscing over William Shatner's corset?

A little bit off topic but having been to DragonCon in Atlanta last weekend (Aug29-Sep1), I noticed that the amount of people wearing Star Wars and Star Trek gear has fallen drastically - especially the Trek people. Hopefully the franchise will die the miserable lonely death it deserves.

It will never die. I may have to slumber for a decade, but it will always come back.

Believe it or not, Pirates of the Carribbean fandom was more prominent than ST, at least judging by the number of costumed fans.

Seriously. Is there a database of all the quotes used in the "Here's something to think about....." and how do I access it? Some of the non-Star Trek quotes are pretty good.

Given the fact that every single line of asinine ST drivel passing as "dialogue" has appeared as a quote so far, I'm just waiting for the following.

I just got the quote
Quote:

I think that quote should come up every time. Especially in this forum.
