I might take a look into a solution for this problem for surfers who can't aim correctly with the mouse as soon as I get confirmed that my local code is the latest civgroup code in use.

Anyways, I'll try PM'ing Gramphos later today (he's the only name that I haven't tried yet).

Uhh, thanks... very tactful.
But I can assure you that you're wrong.

I'm afraid to check...
It would be even dumber if I accidentally left a civgroup again to check if I can accidentally leave civgroups now.
Anyway, I suppose that they'd let us know if this was changed, probably in this thread too so we won't have to look hard.
Wow... aren't you over-friendly today.
Anything wrong?

Maybe a PM to Gramphos would be a wiser method of "testing" it.
Assuming he still is the one looking into this.

Here's a wild idea... how about leaving a civgroup which means sweet bugger all if you leave it (i.e. a non-DG one).

Tried it with the Mac group... no difference.
But then again, Gramphos mentioned that he made a flag for groups that will require confirmation to leave and it can be used only for certain groups (the ones that require re-authorization by the group leader), so this probably wasn't a very good test.
Anyway, I trust that we'll get some form of notification if/when the changes are implemented.

I am now very annoyed at Opera.
The page stopped scrolling (happened a couple of times recently) and I was left with an out of date page view on my monitor. I went to click on a new thread (which I was scrolling up for) and left the CtP-SuperLeague civgroup as Opera read that as the newest page. Die Opera!
It is especially annoying as now no one can get authorised as I was the Authoriser!
This does not auger well for Opera staying above Mozilla as my browser of choice!

You're not using the new beta by any chance, are you?

I stopped using Opera as soon as the week of usage I give new browsers was up.
Frozzy: Is that why Ctp SuperLeague is now written out instead as an image?

Shiber: Yep, I am.
geeslaka: CtP-SuperLeague is written out as the image has not been uploaded onto the image server, but onto Settler II.

I use Opera 7.11-stable and I love it as much as mac junkies love their macs.

So, nothing has been changed yet.

Just a bump for you who don't read the news. The code is on the server now, and your civgroup can be given a confirmation page before a member leaves if you the mod emails Markos.

Yes...
Otherwise Markos wouldn't be able to edit the civgroups that asks for it.
I'm not sure what the news reads like. But at least it says thet the feature asked for in this thread is active (and I know that it is the latest version of the script overall)

Yes, the news mentions fixes, which are mostly to the moderation part. Especially the no pagenavigator bug which I believe has troubled some cg mods not being able to get to the members really waiting for authorization and stuff. (I bet it's the one that has given you most trouble)

Yes it was... the problems I had were with people I couldn't get to on page 2. Not a problem for some of the civ groups because they don't need more than one page... but for some... ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH
