using my devine powers and in collaboration with Cavebear...
I suggest atawa to be our next president.
(this decision is based on the idea that we want to drag in new ppl.)
So if that is ok with atawa and STYOM:
atawa: president
STYOM: VP.

Hail atawa, President of the Apolyton Imperium, Chosen One, Ruler of the Realm. And hail too, to STYOM Vice President, manager of the next elections, and replacer of the President in times of Difficulty, speaker of great influence, and heir apparent to the throne..
Both are welcomed to the Administration and both are respected for their fine contest for the job of President. We look forward to both of them having successful careers based on this spirited start.
President atawa, we Ministers await your orders...

I went to a movie because I couldn't stand the suspense.
I am disappointed naturally, but I understand the need for a clear choice as leader - and I think polling the cabinet was a fair way to make this choice. I support atawa fully and I will offer my opinions and support where needed.
And, I would like to thank those who voted for me - I hope I can make it back to the campaign trail in October.
-Six, VP

Dear fellow Apolytonians,
I'm hapy and gratefull that the ministers voted in majority for me in the second round elections. ( Especialy with such a good candidate running against me.)
for STYOM, thanks for making this an election to remember
I'd also like to thank all citizens that voted for me, I wont let you down. (Amazons are on the way )
Finaly I'd like to thank last months cabinet for doing such a great job and ridding the world of the pests that called themselves Romans.
I allready send the save to the ministers and would like to see all polls up today. This means we have the weekend to discuss and vote and I can play the next turn on monday.
We have a lot of work to do but I'm quite confident that with the cabinet we have now we'll grow our Imperium to even greater heights of power.
/me , President of the Apolyton Imperium.

Interesting.... I have not seen STYOM in any DG position, whereas I have seen atawa in many, thus I would have thought it was STYOM who was the inexperienced one, DG wise anyway....
However, congrats atawa, and I look forward to some more contested elections next month - they really do make for some excitement, and they mean we end with high quality candidates.
