The Ottomans have offered peace to the ravaging Babylonian hordes. We only hope in their infinate wisdom to spare the remaining tundra cities.
The Ottoman Empire is but a tiny remnant of their old selves. The resource rich Babylonians have expanded their empire most impressively.

1120 A.D.
The time has come for the Ottoman Empire to float away into the sea. Tis a shame that peace was but a distant dream.
I offer all I have left to those I would call friends.
"Be wary of the warmongering Babylonians."

Thanks for the game SirOsis. If I had let you build for another 20 turns I'm sure I would have had a much tougher time; not to mention those pesky Sipahi!

Yes. That of course was the plan. I had hoped to have saltpeter. When I saw I didn't I said a few choice words. No iron or saltpeter? Brutal.
I also made an error about defending my shores. I didn't realize there was such a gap between warships and transport ships or I would have built more defenses.
I learned a lot though and had a great time. About all you can ask for.

Til next time.
The Ottomans still show up as active so I've sent the turn on to Sirosis. I'm assuming that the Ottomans have to retire before I can start sending directly to the English.

I'm not sure how to retire. When I do it doesn't give me the option to save and send the turn. I guess the babs will have to take my capital.

Ok. I have Galley on the way. I will be able to land in 2 turns and take the city on the 3rd. Please evacuate all units from the city. It sucks you can't just retire. One would think the game would allow for such an occurance.
1130 to Soltz.

I've retired people in other games. Maybe it is because I am the 1st player?

If it's any consolation, I was down to one city in the "Earth" game for a couple of months until someone finally took me out!
