Easy Kill of Hedgedog in Redfront
Use partisans. In later periods every Soviet infantry got killed, a vet partisan unit will appear. Use the partisans to attack hedgedogs. You'll be pleased.

Partisans have vast advantage if used to attack units with attack factor=0. Four to five partisans can kill a panton bridge. This could be very useful in the battle of Stalingrad. You can even try to attack Sweden. (Build red guards and send them to death, then you'll have enough partisans).

Forget the hedgehogs... my partisans just captured Minsk all by themselves!!! (winter42-43)
It's quite far behind the lines, but I rushbuilt a few KV1's for protection, and they'll wait it out 'till the "cavalry" arrives.
I think I'm going to organize an assault on Kiev next. The partisans are deady in winter at the Pryapts.

Also, you could keep track where the hedgehogs appear and build a minefield, and wait it out with a Katyusha...
