Yes. Ben (elijah) and I have known each other for years, and I am responsible for introducing him to OTF (I really am sorry ). Louise (Verres ) is my girlfriend and elijah's close friend.
Do we have the highest concentration of OTFers within a small part of a town?

Celtic Knots(Zoomorphics preferably. If you feel really rich try to find a good rendition of the Tree of Life).
There are really good artists around that do this kind of stuff, maybe I'll hunt down a site for you a wee bit later.

One thing you seem to be forgetting in all this, elijah: Dom.

On the other hand, she could love it . Besides, one hopes that women won't be paying attention to my back. On the other hand, my upper arm is probably a better bet. How painful with this thing get? (both physically and financially).

Ok, Wittgenstein sucks, but no more than Popper. Come to think of it, I cant think of any actual philosopher I agree with totally, except possibly Protagoros but not really as a working philosophy, more of a starting point.
We are all liberal (relative to everyone else in Drogue's case, Verre's and myself concur on much (please? ), and we all live within about 4 sq miles (Drogue is about 10 min walk from me). Must be something in the water... "Northampton, the town of the liberal proto-intelligentsia"
Incidentally, I'm posting from College while I'm supposed to be in a psychology lesson

I would say not much (on upper arm) but I know how you reacted to acupuncture And depends on size, between £30 and £100 for what you'd want probably.

Why don't you tatoo Kan't Critique of Pure Reason instead ? (In very small print). Or Proust in full text ? That would be cool, and you can be sure your gf won't be bored in bed

Get a CND logo. Make sure it's in a position where you can invert it when the need arises.
As for where - look up "tattoo parlour" in your Thomson or yellow pages.
Alternatively, kill somebody and get sent to jail for a few years. Only if you really need the tat and can't afford to pay for it. Lots of inmates will offer to help with this, although of course they aren't exactly famous for their artistic prowess, hygeine or steady hands.
In short - I think you're barmy but good luck anyway.

I looked into this a couple of years ago when considering a tattoo. I didn't get one in the end.
Useful site
http://skinart.co.uk/skinart/advice.html
It will cost more but get it done by someone good, not just the nearest place. You're likely to have it for a long time. Laser is about the only way to have one removed and it is a lot more expensive than having the tattoo done in the first place.
Be sober when you make your choice.
It can be addictive and you may not stop at one so it could be worth deciding on a theme - celtic, tribal, animals or whatever and sticking to it.
If you want something complex (size, pattern, colours) it may take several visits so you may have to go back repeatedly.
I hope you don't regret it.

Ah! You know I'm right! Escape the boundaries of your everyday notion of reality and open your mind to non-pragmatic (which suck by default in philosophy imo) concepts.

Upper arm hurts the least. Lower back is also relatively painless.
Inside upper arm - bring tissues, 'cause you're gonna cry.

But would you really want her to spend the whole time reading Proust???? She may not be bored in bed, but you certainly would be.

What I meant was that if she was reading your body all the time, it would be boring. If she was reading braille on your body all the time, it's a little more 'hands on'
