jtsisyoda: I start my new job tonight This was a summer job, and now I have a job as a bartender ay my favoutire bar (Revolution, a vodka/cocktail bar that is very popular and has the longest drinks list I've ever seen). However I'm going on holiday on tuesday.
The cakes are because it is tradition where I work now (the County Council) that when someone leaves or has a birthday they get cakes for the office. A tradition I whole-heartedly approve of

Does your bar have the English tradition that I wholeheartedly disapprove of, that is, closing before midnight?

And most of those actually were useful conversations... it's too bad there isn't an easier way to transcribe chats into the threads (and an easier way to get into the chats) that way we wouldn't have to just post like crazy.

Are you named after a particular method, Method? Maniac doesn't have to be named after a particular maniac. He just has to be a maniac. But one cannot be just any old method. IMHO.

Maybe not immune, but it certainly has a higher resistance

Are you sure you really want to go there? You know if you really really work hard for it and if you are lucky you could get 10% PCR discount too.

10% discount on PCR... as in Polymerase Chain Reaction? Is that a cloning vat reference?

I could be a smart-CyCon and point out that you cannot 'sing' that piece of music (it has no words, and being a piano part, is polyphonic) but I wont
