Need Playtesters for "The Sun Never Sets..."
I have made a scenario for MGE called "The Sun Never Sets..." It is just about finished and I am placing the last graphics for it now. The scenario features events, new civ-specific units, a new tech tree, and a few different ideas.

It spans the world from 1837 to 1914, though the part after about 1890 needs a little work. I am thinking of incorporating multiple or even civilization specific events files, but I want to see how everything that I have worked on so far has turned out.

I am looking for a couple of good playtesters.

Thanks,
Scott Fluhr

I think I know the topic of the scenario, but what are the 7 civs? I'd playtest it. By the way, does anyone know where to get a good Hex Editor?

The seven civilizations are:
Great Britain
Russia
Chinese/Japanese
French and Iberians
Germans and Austrians
United States
Natives (includes Ottoman Empire and South American nations.)

The Natives and the Chinese/Japanese really are not designed for a human player. (Sorry, Mao, I guess you can try the Chinese if you want.)

The Natives are a home for other little nations. I am thinking of adding the US Civil War, but I am not certain how. I may end up creating several different unit files.

I can't really send too many comments, but I'd be interested in seeing it- the one or other comment will come, don't worry.

"Just surrender and it won't hurt at all"

Yes, between some of those, but those were the best divisions into civilizations that I could think of, being limited to 7 civs.

I meant Shores of Tripoli, but there's a song called "The Marine's Hymn" and a line from it is "The Hills of Tripoli".

Thanks. I was going to make it from "Stettin in the Baltic to Trieste in the Adriatic," but someone already had that.

Wait...I thought the Marine Corps Hymm went like this: "From the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of tripoli, We fight our country's battles in the air, on land and sea. First to fight for right and freedom, and to keep our honor clean; We are proud to claim the title United States Marines."

...or was that a different song...

Playing it now...
