Hot Party Drinks
Any recipes? I have discovered Whisky-cider and its effect on the ladies a while back, and people keep asking me to make it. It's really nice: Take some apple juice, cut into smallish pieces and add some real apples, add TONS of sugar, cinnamon, ginger, whatever and heat it up even to boiling. Pour into glasses and add a little whisky. I find it best to add the whisky into the glass simply because otherwise it kinda evaporates, so it's better to add it at the last moment for best effect. Also I find it best to use Scotch whisky (although for drinking I prefer Irish) because of its strong, dominant flavor that goes great with the cider. Also, that way non-drinking people can enjoy the cider which is excellent by itself.
Now I realise that I never made punch. Or even had a good recipe. Help? Any other similiar drinks? I might want to hold a party sometime and it's useful knowledge.
Later I tell you of the circumstances I first discovered and made Whisky-Cider. It's a nice story

my favorite three were always:
-white russians
-pineapple rum red wine sangria
-1/3 vodka, 1/3 lingonberry concentrate, 1/3 water (vargtass, wolf's paw in swedish).
But none come close to a bottle of good beer and a shot of taquila...

I'll agree on the beer. But none of these are hot, dude! Hot as in temperature... Hot booze is great.
BTW, NOTHING beats a pint of good draught beer and a Whiskey chaser
Make is a few pints

It's not an aphrodisiac , but I'm a big fan of mulled wine. But my wife's usually in charge of that at our winter parties, so I don't have a recipe for you.

Mulled wine is when you spice some wine up and heat it? We've got a different name for it, can't spell it tho. My parents make it.... (Again, if we're talking of the same thing)

Yep, that's it. You also have to add sugar (brown sugar, IIRC).

Mulled wine is called mulled wine in Scotland, my Grandparents make it every Christmas. And it's bascially wine, cinnamon, ginger, sugar, sherry and brandy heated.
For hot alcohol, try a flaming lambourghini Or just flame your favourite shooter. We have stuff we get in a bar here called Bar Soviet that is so alcoholic, even when it's chilled it's hot. It's weird, it actually feels hot in temperature, and warms your mouth up, even when served cool. A thermomiter in it shows it to be about 4C, yet put your finger in it and it wil feel warm Great stuff, but does burn your throught. It's 88%, although I'm not sure what it's called, it just has 6 Russian Characters on the bottle.
