2 tales by Zalzabad and 2 by SKILORD.. in a hardfought semifinal round where Three tales tied with 4 votes apiece and the other two had 5 each (I think)

My Dream, my Destiny, all for naught, another stories comp come, another second placing for myself. yet, I guess it could be a good thing, as it is winning this story comp at least once that pushes me to write whenever I have some spare time.
I was certain I would claim the crown this time, yet fate can be cruel. Good work, Kaos, and since my unmerciful defeat has come, prepare for the next onslaught. I will not get Requiem finished this year, but you may get a new story soon (perhaps tonight?)
Congratulations.

Only Nine voters, seems a poor turn out to me. In fact the forum seems very quiet of late with very little in the way of stories being posted.
Me thinks we need to figure out some way to revitalise this forum, maybe when conquests comes out it'll pick up.
EDIT sorry almost forgot to say congrats Kaos a truly epic piece

Congratulations Kaos!
(The low turnout might have had something to do with aPolyton's server problems)

Damn I missed voting on this contest. I didn't realise my pc wasn't refreshing this page when I kept coming back to it. I kept seeing the old threads. Stupid me. I'm sorry but no offence to the others but Lord Zalzabad's stories were by far the better ones.
