Poly Casual Chess Game: OPD v HS
Can you follow algebraic notation? I just picked it up myself so if I appear eager to use it... If not I can try to help you or we can use whatever you're comfortable with.

I've actually been to Bimingham, UK. Both places have that "industrial nightmare" kind of feel to it and brick as every color in the spectrum.

Cool when did you visit? There's been alot of re-developement recently, almost everything that looked in the least bit scummy has been demolished. In the city centre that is.
Although some one did burn down the monument in centenery square

Fairly small; only about 300,000 actually live in the city, although our metro area consists of about one million. The area surrounding our city is very nice. Other than the immediate city we aren't very densely populated and have lots of parks and national forests around.
There didn't seem to be many parks around England. Was I not looking very hard?

Not many parks around really the UK is something like 1/500 the size of the US with 1/5 of the population.
Birmingham is one of the key cities of the Industrial revolution, mainly due to it's central location and good transport links. It's the canal capital of Europe with more than Venice, canals being the best way to move materials and products around before trains and lorries.
It's mostly famous for having almost no greenery in the centre, a true hardcore concrete jungle, although the canals all over the place kinda make up for that.

We've won the Arbor Day Tree Friendliest City several years in a row now so it looks like we're trying to push the concrete jungle back for now. Glad I didn't miss any parks on my way through; I'd have truly felt bad considering the amount of effort I put in trying to see Bath's two floor Qzar laser tag facility.
