Some are. But mark my word, we have serious intentions vis-a-vis US team. And we'll win in Athens.

did they beat any U.S. teams?
we know they can beat crappy European teams.
Yes I know U.S. teams are crap now because they lack discipline. But I bet you if the coach could decide which players he wanted on his team, he could come up with a disciplined team of stars. Not this mishmash of overpaid, giant sized ego stars we have representing the U.S. now. But unfortunately, the coach doesn't get to decide who is on his team.

Yeah, yeah, congrats. I heard on the tv Lithuania has good traditions here, being the champion before the war and getting USSR to the hights...
Is there anything else Lithuanian sportsmen excel in?

I have a version of the Soviet anthem sung by Lithuanians. It's very beautiful. For that reason alone:
Yay Lithuania!!!

The first line of the Polish national anthem is,
"Lithuania, my fatherland/I will protect thee".
Go figure

No, he stayed in US. His legs are really fragile after all these surgeries and such an intense tournament would have hurt his NBA carreer, plus I think he would void his medical insurance procided by the Cavs in he played this tournament, and no one wanted to pick up that check.
Whatever. If he plays in Athens we have more than just a nonzero probablity of winning gold

What? I thought you guys were one of the stongest contenders for the gold?
The winner is going to be a Eurocom team so I would think that this shows Lithuania is the team to beat...
