I haven't anything against his trolling. He trolls there too, and I ridicule his trolls. He doesn't have a big audience there, only one other demogamer (Eli). His trolls are, however, related to that game. This is a difference. I just don't want to be trolled with PtWDG stuff here, that's all I asked for. He denied this request.

As long as PtWDG trolls remain in the appropriate forum (which I pretty much ignore now), I'm game, unless Vel wants to play.

ok, since techically he hasn't answered my PM, let's stick with the original people (plus, the Order of the Black Rose sounded pretty cool)

Have you removed the "Trigger GA" flags from the hidden units?
And what's about my "Only in-game diplomacy" rule?

I liked that rule SR. I think because there were no objections it should be adopted. If anyone did object, I would slap them with a trout or something.

New rule, no slapping with trout if you do not have the appropriate Fish resource within your cultural radius.

Very funny and quick, I like that! People get slapped with Trip's protuberence n the ISDG chats. I just thought trout would be more appropriate.

Yep done. Everything has been implemented by the book (I used to do a lot of modding when I first got PTW)
Major changes:
- All starting techs cost 3
- Four hidden nationality units (GA removed for JW, WE and Cossack, draft removed from Guerrilla)
- All UU's switched to correct new owner (and default UU's taken out)
- Random map. Starting locations were evened up. A bit of terrain editing was done to further even up stuff. Admittedly, some starts are a bit better than others but overall there is no "bad" start, I doubt any of you will complain.
- Start locations are random, I haven't assigned them to anyone so don't blame me who your neighbor is

Wait, are you saying that you kiss GF and that you wonder if it's the same one you make certain comments with or that GF kisses your mother with his colourful mouth and wonders about it?
anyway how soon can we get rolling?

perhaps I'm the only one who chose the F-15 then
I think peoples secret stuff would be very interesting and alot of the fun will be seeing what units have been picked and what traits certain people went for.

Hey MZ, I hate to be a nit-picker, but did you remove the resourse requirements for the Cossack?
to the diplomacy rule.
And so far, I have only heard one person object to the "Donegeal kills everybody." rule, so I guess it passed as well. So, when you come accross my nation, just empty out your cities and disban units as I come to them. Yep. That will do nicely...

Cossack - no resource, didn't forget
Ok, the game is done. One little problem, since I'm not in it, I can't actually start it and save it since I'd have to play Anatolia's first turn.
So, should I send him the scenario file with a vow of honesty that he'll just set up the PBEM and never open it?
(or any other solution to this?)

I think that is the best idea MZ. As you know the map already, you might recignize the start and it may influence how you play the first turn. Anatolia might also play differently and make different moves (we do have three settler groups and a jag). I know its unlikely, but one can never be too sure.

whoa, I missed the three settlers bit. Has everyone agreed to this? Looking back Don was mentioning 3 settlers, 3 workers and the jag. Is this fine with everyone?

Anything is fine at this point. Master Zen, I don't mind if you play my first turn. Just please buid one city right away no matter the location. Send the other two settlers in different locations and move the workers towards the nearest resources or irrigatable squares. Fortify my military unit in the city.
Thanks!

To be honest, I'm not much enthralled by 3 settlers. I'd prefer the classic start. But I will go with the majority.

I know I'm not part of the game but I also think 3 is a bit too much since it's a standard map.
Perhaps 2? (know what it feels to be a deity civ)

What we have done in other ones is allow the mapmaker to play everyone's first turn and set their passwords.
He usually just skips the first turn and we start the game one turn later.

Hey, that sounds like a good idea GF. And like I said about the three settler group start, I only mentioned it as a way to speed the game up. I am completely indifferent about it. 2, 1, whatever, makes no difference to me...

I'm fine with him skipping all turns and setting all passwords, but not play. Not that I doubt in his skills, but I'd prefer to screw my capital location myself.

May be he can even set in the scenario the starting year to 4050BC and increase the number of turns for the 50-year chunk and the total number by one, so we all begin as always 4000BC.

I agree with having Master Zen set up the passwords and skipping the first turn. Master Zen, please give me no password. I trust the others.
