I've been having a lot of fun with Strategic Command. Won my first game as Axis after a bit of a scramble when I realised, in 1947, that the game stops in 1947.
Won my second game as the allies in June 1945. The Red Army had overrun Germany by the end of 1944 but to my surprise the wretched Italians kept fighting and I suffered a 4 point penalty for not winning by May 1945.
Hey Carolus, I always invade Sweden. The Krauts got it in the first game and the Sovs took it in the second game.

I'm not at my pc at the moment. Until I know that a reasonable number of us will show up on Fridays I can't knock back other things! I'll check in when I get home.

Tempting - I'll bear that in mind.
Still having fun with that Strategic Command. Putting a massive Italian army up through the Caucasus at the moment via Turkey.

I don't know how you can sit through some of those games. I'll just be watching the big clashes.
And the cricket season has started now.

Well, let's say the cricket season starts when the Indians get here.
Are the tomato and the beans still alive? How is the seedling in the kitchen window coming along?

Hmmm, lots of fun at the SCG today.
yeah, the plants are doing well, I toyed with posting some photos. That compost must be good value - I found spuds growing in there.

The compost looked great. Just keep using it as mulch and the beans and tomatoes won't need any more fertilising.

amazing to find 2 fully grown fist sized spuds in there
Its a work in progress that compost - I added a bag of blood and bone 2 weeks ago, this week I put in a bag of manure and a satchel of potash. Then I think it probably needs to be covered with black plastic for a few weeks to get the heat level up.
