To vondrack. Sorry for the delay. You know it is bad when you need to go to page 4 of the PBEM forum to find your save thread. Again - sorry.

Got the save.
Have a bug in one city, that is causing the game to crash.
Am arranging it to be razed.
I cant play until I sort this out.
We should be on track soon.
Sorry for the delay

Waiting (anxiously?) for one's funeral is an unbelievably weird experience...
Where is the darn save?

So the save must be either with ricketyclick or Beta, right?

Sorry guys. I saved the game but did not play it.
Thanks for the reminder.
Now for the other news from this turn - the Russians are dead. The Russians are dead. (Funeral music plays in the background, and the church bell tolls. ) Sorry vondrack. Lost at sea.
Save to H_E.

Well, it's not that bad news, I guess.
That island NW off the Spanish coast, which was uninhabited many turns ago when my first settler drowned at sea, was now almost fully settled, so I had nowhere to go anyway...
I am leaving this game with mixed memories - there were periods of fun and excitement and there were periods of bitter frustration for me. But it certainly was quite an experience.
And I am glad to say that many of you have become or remained my close friends here at Poly, despite all the ups and downs of this game.
I do not think we are going to meet again any time soon, as I am going to take a break from PBEMs, only finishing PtWDG with Lego... so, good luck to all of you and have fun!

I have been attached!!!
I will need to put bit of thought into this turn. I'll try to play today, before I'm gone for the weekend.

To whom have you been attached? Surely an operation will fix it?

I made a funny, but not on purpose. Of course I meant attacked.
Needless to say, the turn has not been played; I haven't even looked at it. I'll have to play tonight...in about 12 hours.

HeHe...Beta, I thought you might enjoy that.
Sorry Vondrack, I just could not get enough defense to counter Beta's army. In retrospect, I should have planned better.

It's cool isn't it? A friend of mine at work was gazing vacantly into space one day, I was watching him for quite a while. Suddenly he turned to me and came out with that. I should give him the byline in my sig...
