I was worried they would give up the late touchdown.
Miami wins over Buffalo Bills. And cover the spread
although I wish ricky williams hadn't got that last touchdown. oh well.

Damn, Dan Reeves must be one of the dumbest coaches out there. Carolina shows you how to deal with the Bucs (at least how to keep it close), take a strong RB and run north-south. So what does Reeves do, knowing that he has a strong, FAST RB in Duckett and a small, atheletic, fast RB in Dunn? He runs DUNN?! Are you kidding me?
No wonder the great defensive effort early got wasted as the D got tired from all the 3 and outs.
Jeez. And you expect to compete?
Anyway, Miami sure bounced back from Week 1's debacle. They look solid, but KC looks like the team of the NFL right now.

Well, this week sucked. The Packers managed to completely blow what should have been an easy W. No matter what happens, though, I can console myself with one fact.

I have the lead currently in my fantasy football game. but I did predict Denver to win, and there is a possibility Gannon could get negative points

Imran, this isn't old news - for *years*, this is how you beat the Tampa defense. If Reeves doesn't get it by now, he never will.

I agree, and as far as the NFC is concerned, Seattle & Minnesota's win (but especially Seattle's) were HUGE this week. Both teams have a early two-game edge on the division favorites. That doesn't mean, of course, that they stand a chance against us come January, but I'm worried about Seattle if they get there - I drafted Alexander first for a reason, you know.

You think that's bad? How about three straight penalties on fourth down to force them to punt from the end zone. Not to mention Joey throwing 2 picks on late comeback drives? 57 yards combined rushing?
This is the same pathetic sh** that's been foisted on us for 10 years. If Mooch can turn it around, great. But I'm not holding my breath.

Few active coaches have had the success Reeves has had.

say what you will, but you can't convince me Atlanta's running game can come close to Stephen Davis.
Face it, some teams match up better against Tampa Bay than others. It will be fun to see them play New Orleans- who beat them twice last year.

And the Niners are waaaaayyy too conservative on offense.
They need to open up the passing game. They have all these threats at wide reciever. Streets can catch passes too. Though it would be nice if they had one more great receiver to really open things up.

Cedric Wilson is promising... I think they were going rely on him...
I think they were conservative on their play calling, but not on their strat... Do you call what they did on their first drive yesterday conservative? They could of had 3 more points on the board and won the game!

Reeves has also been a total moron . I mean when did Elway start having his 'career' years... yep, after Reeves left. He can't even do what everyone and their mothers was saying.

I think T.J. Duckett is just as good as Davis. Whenever he is given the ball and told to run (usually when Dunn gets hurt) he is very, very good. Duckett is basically Davis, only bigger.

Rams: Faulk out four-to-six weeks
by Fanball Staff - Fanball.com
Monday, September 22, 2003
News
Running back Marshall Faulk is expected to miss four-to-six weeks after fracturing two bones in his left hand on Sunday, head coach Mike Martz said in a press conference on Monday. Faulk hit his hand on the Seattle turf on the third play of the third quarter and was taken to the locker room for X-rays. The machine at the stadium was not functioning properly, and team doctors originally tabbed Faulk to miss three-to-four weeks. A re-examination in St. Louis on Monday moved the timetable to four-to-six weeks. “They're very, very firm about when he'll be able to come back," Martz explained. Lamar Gordon will take over as the primary back, with rookie Arlen Harris as the backup. The Rams have a bye in week five.
Views
Gordon has carried the ball well when called upon in the last two games for the Rams, and he has looked faster than Faulk. Fantasy owners with Faulk should have already prepared for this move by having Gordon ! on the roster. If Gordon is available in your league, make a large bid for him as soon as you are able to. He may only get three or four starts until Faulk returns, but high-caliber backs don't come around too often.

I sucked in Lombardi this week.
I have to rely on Shannon Sharpe to get 9 points in the Fantasy league.
I'm 0-2 in Fantasy so far.
life sucks...........

Well, my Lombardi picks were terrible again. Not quite as horrible as Week 2, but that would be tough to do. Pick the opposite I do, and you're pretty much assured a better than break-even week.
On the other hand, shoulda-been-a-Bear Terrell Suggs got a sack on Brees, so it looks like I win the inaugural Executioner Pool (which lasted all of 3 weeks ),

Shannon Sharpe scored the first. Ashley Lelie just scored to give the Broncos a 14-0 lead. Boy, the Raiders look like crap!
