There is kind of a wasteland between Emperor and Diety. Perhaps a "Delusional" at say 6500?

If it's hard to do then it's no biggie, but there are loads of emperors now, and only a handful of deities since 10K is too far away for all bug the biggest spammers.
A title in between would be a good idea IMO.

But there's even a greater number of Kings out there (me, for one).

Leave it to Skanky to put the stats into their proper perspective.

If you have new levels, they must stick to the 3131 format
1 - Settler
30 - Chieftain
100 - Warlord
300 - Prince
1000 - King
3000 - Emperor
10000 - Deity
30000 - Demi God
100000 - Sid

Advanced member search, displaying 100 people per page. I only had to count the last page of people manually for each group. Yeah, I was bored.
I still feel that there should be a new level halfway between emperor and deity. While emperors are numerically smaller than most other groups, we are the loudest group here.

Mathematically Frozzy is correct (though demi-god after Deity doesn't work), but even after seeing Skanky's numbers I think demi-god at 6000 would be a good idea. The end of the distribution at 130 to 7 is too steep IMO.

I was wondering that also, seeing as a Demigod is only half diety and half mortal while a diety is 100% diety.

If Demi-God was at 6000 and Deity at 10000, how many demi-gods would we have?
Not that anything is going to change, of course, but if we keep talking about it we might all make deity by the time this thread gets locked.

A lot of the new emperors have been generated with the DG and PBEM posts in a relatively short time. I'd guess that more than a few will eventually make deity.

If demigod was at 6000, then that would have to mean deity would be at 12000. Or is that too literal?
I know it's a horribly newbie question, but how are the statistics on your profile page calculated? I'd like to think that the attack and defence stats depended upon the general attitude of your posts (which is why I seem to have swung from having a defence of 4 to an attack of 7 following a slight distribution of scorn in OT), and that the movement depends upon how many different forums you post in, but I've got a feeling that this is not the case. Shame though. I'll check my stats again after this and edit if necessary.

Oh crap, it's still on the first page. Also Ming informs me he already intercepted one.
What do we do? Mass cover-up, new round of +1's, or just use the old votes?

I say use the old votes, since this is not a new thread on the subject, but effectively a threadjack.

I think we counted a query in an unrelated thread before. Since the thread with the votes is still on the first page though, I think the most reasonable response is to turn a blind eye.

Nah....it's just that every so often the question of post stats is asked. We kinda like to guess when it'll happen next.
The next newest thread on the subject is here:

Run a search for threads containing the words "post stats" in this forum and you'll see what's going on.
