If it was unclear, I agree. I was just wondering if it was the one that got to make a new question or the one that actually got it right that was going to be listed.

Until now, no. I always though that the Championship Manager series was the first footie game to include the Faroe Isles league.
Asmodean
P.S. unless of course you coded this game yourself, and released it only to friends on the Faroe Islands

Didn't Sensible World of Soccer have loads of obscure leagues too? I'll say SWOS then.

You are supposed to get one right before you take a turn setting. Guesses are free-for-alls.

Well as i think a cross-post situ created the small confussion, and i think that as you are asking first then yes sure go ahead as long as you got it right - Jamski?
Asmodean can maybe go after you? or whenever ADG thinks is best, as he's this fine threads creator

Well, it was only a short interruption, but I'm pleasantly surprised someone actually recognised the Faroe Island league teams.
Full marks for SWOS

So who all still needs to throw out games for us to guess? I'm somewhat confused on how there are multiple people waiting to throw out clues but that's normal for me.

Er, it's me and Asmodean. I think. Just 'cause there was some confusion on who was supposed to have made the last clue. Um. One at a time really.
Clue #1: The (excellent) conversation interface was copied pretty much straight off by Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers several years later.

I thought games after 1994 or thereabouts were outlawed.
I now see you're supposed to post the computer you played it on- it was the PC. Curiously for a game from its era, the PC version actually looks better than the Amiga version released simultaneously.

Is it too tricky? I could give another clue I guess... But after this I'll leave it for a while.
Clue #2: Unusually for a game of its type the characters are made up of (2D) Polygons rather than sprites. This approach would be refined by the time the company released its next game, a pioneering Action Adventure cult classic. I think that latter game is overrated myself.

Its not 'Captive' is it?
I'll admit i've never played the Gabriel Knight games so this will be my last guess in the dark.

Clue #4: Although the story expicitly sets out to be of a certain very English type, the game is actually French.

Clue #5, another picture. This is the game's vaguely iconic title screen (with name appropriately boxed out). A similar image was the box art of the original French version.
