Fantastic Worlds
I have MGE, but I want to make sure that my scenario is compatible with FW.

Does anyone have any tips on how do accomplish this?

Cross your fingers? LOL

If you write a scenario with MGE then IT WILL NOT WORK with FW.

I've tried this a few times. And I still can't get it to work.

You need a possitive attitude Warvoid.

We can make it work we just have to figure out how.

benedetti, thanks. I was using the 3 point system, but changing it now. Does FW allow Wonders as objectives?

William: yes, it does.

Further to my previous post, the 3-point objective system is really buggy. Three-point objective cities created under FW are not recognized as such by MGE. Also, 3-point objective cities are what makes Angelo Scotto's ToT converter to crash. Three-point objective cities are to be avoided as much as possible.

1. Do not use 3-point objective cities

2. I wouldn't use hex editing just in case

3. Use Angelo Scotto's program

4. Cross your fingers

Also think about events. MGE can apparently handle a few more events that FW. How much more I don't know. Using Angelo's converter I converted a scenario from MGE to FW and could only get it to run after I removed a few events from the MGE version.

Yes Gothmog, good point. MGE allows for approtimately twice as much event space than FW. That is ~30K for MGE and 15K for FW.
