Nah I've been snowboarding for 8 years as well.
I prefer skiing, but I do drag the board out every now and then.

Snowboarders destroy the slope all the time?
That's like saying hockey players destroy the ice for figureskaters all the time.
Makeo, that's cool. When I first tried out snowboarding, I never ever touched my skis again. It's fun with skis too, but I just never touched them again.

Oh c-mon. they move side down, gathering the snow,
and a thin cover of it on the ice - and that's how the slopes in eastern Europe look - goes all down and the ice is polished.

Hmm no one mentioned european ski resorts.. personally I suggest Pinerolo, Sestriere and Madonna di Campiglio for curling, snowboarding and skiing

Europe has some great resorts for sure! Too bad, I need to get my butt there sometimes.
Heresson, I know what you mean. But isn't it little more fun to ski when there are little bumps all over?

Yes! That's why I loved Slovakia. They never prepared the traces. But it's good when there are "muldy" as I call them, small /\ s on the slope, and some ice, but I was in one popular place in Poland and steep narrow all-covered ice slopes were a bit annoying, least to say.
And snowboarders were only making it worse. The difference between them and skiirs are that they do not turn, they just get more and more snow under thir boards.

you RACIST! I hate it when the slopes are covered on ice and nothing but ice. It's very common in here. Sure, it makes you skilled rider but it's not that fun. There needs to be enough real snow, then there are no problems.

Once the ice will appear, alll the snow that falls on it will be dragged down
