The French infidels are brutal to their own people. Abandoning cities upon seeing Danish Berserks with their big axes? For shame!
Turn sent to lmtoops.

Not quite. The Franks had 1 swordsman in a city, no possibility of reinforcements, and three berserks turned up. So the brave Frankish swordsman killed a berserk and the Franks abandoned the city so that the evil Danes couldn't get any victory points for capturing/razing it.
I assume the swordsman is no more but I will happily trade a 15 shield swordsman for a 35 shield berserk anytime.
That was the last isolated easy target for the Danes. If they want any more they are going to have to risk losing units from now on.

Perhaps we'll return to our ships and find other targets.
Or perhaps not...

Good idea but most of us will have to research Seamanship first.
To SirOsis the foolishly persistent.

I'm going to Canada on January 12th and I'll be out of action for a few days while I get over jet lag. It shouldn't be that long before I get the game installed and start taking my turns again.
