Carr: 371yards... Houston still loses...
I really like Carr, but that really sucks
I am mad my Niners lost... It's going to be a long season, again.
I guess I can pull for the Cowboys, it has been decades since the have been worthy of my hate.

LOL... then why did you 'recind' the offer .
Well at least it is a bit better, knowing that I've been pretty good in my picks so far this year.

I'd said they got my vote. As long as I don't see Green Bay or St. Louis in the playoffs I will be happy (since I am definitly not seeing the Niners)...
Parcells can't be all that bad. I mean, when you ditch your family football you definitly have your priorities in line
Side Note: Since Policy went to the Browns I have bet a friend a 40oz that the Browns would make the play-offs (non-wild card)... I hope they can do it this year as I have been going double or nothing for 3 years now!

Funny thing about QBs and going over 300 yards passing for a game...they often lose.
Now take a back going over 100 yards, and you've got teams that usually win.
It's not the numbers, it's why they got the numbers that counts towards the victory.

A perfectly placed pass and the Rams are finally are on top of the spread 17 - 0!

grrr
I thought the Falcons could cover the spread. The spread seemed too high for my tastes.

Martz loves to run up the score(i.e. the Jets game a few years ago where he ran an onside kick when up by 20!), and the Falcons proven inability to hit back (i.e. score) almost ensures the Rams will cover the spread. FYI.

the Falcons were having some success moving the ball.
In the first half if it weren't for that interception they may have scored. And near the end of a second half a penalty put them out of field goal range effectively. They tried anyways, but it was blocked.

I knew that the Falcons had a suspect defensive backfield and the Rams strength is the passing game.I just thought the Rams would have 35 by the 4th quarter.

The Falcons have moved the ball well in several games. However, moving the ball between the 20's doesn't win games. Gotta put it in the endzone, and the Falcons haven't been doing that enough this season!
Safety Rams!

Once again, I lose the top spot on the Lombardi league, because one team can't cover a double digit point spread...

Another week of Football for some... Here in Chicago, what the Bears are playing isn't football
A few hours until Kick Off... so remember to make all your picks in all the pick em leagues, and double check those rosters in your Fantasy Leagues...
ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL

Most local sports fans are betting no more than a quarter before he is out injured. The line can't protect him, and he has a track record for not lasting in games he starts.

Gee... the Packers seem to be having some problems with St Louis. Down 14 - 3 already...
BUMMER
And the Titans are jumping all over the supposed superior Panthers... 17 - 0 and are on the march again.

Terry Glenn has 3 TD's after 1 1/2 quarters.
Tuberski the Dumbass dropped him, and Emu's snatched him up.
WTG, Tubs. Rub that head.

Yo wear that hat when you're driving or flying?
Good safety item. Better than a helmet.
WHEN are Da Bears going to start the rookie?
I believe in a rookie riding the bench the first couple of years, if he has someone to learn from.

At least the Pack has a bye week so they can get rested this week before taking on the Vikings in Minnesota.
If they can win in the dome, I believe that'll spur them on to at least a wild-card berth if not winning the division.
If not, it's over.

Okay... WHAT THE **** WAS THAT down in San Fran?
At the very least... it does get my boys mightly pissed off for the Cowboys next week. Quincy Carter's about to learn you don't want to run into my boys when they're pissed...
Oh, and BTW... just saw the replay of the Eagle punt return to win the game and those officials BETTER BE FINED this week because they missed a blatant block in the back that sprang him loose... they get the call right and the Giants win...
