That's funny, Dallas isn't going to the playoffs.
Don't get me wrong, they have been fun to watch, but Carter hasn't had a bad game that he has to bounce back from, and he isn't great.....yet.
Their D-line is thin, and they are young.
Also they have a really tough schedule ahead of them, including Tampa, New England, Miami and Carolina.
 ACK!

I would never have believed even Parcells could make Carter use the pocket.
The defense, especially LB's and DB's, has been more than fine.
DL is coming together. Got Glover out of double teams.

Yawn... I expected to see "pinball" football tonight. Up and down the field... lot's of scoring... lot's of action...
I guess not. Gannon sucks... Rice hasn't caught a ball yet... Garner is the entire offence...
Yawn.

I think they may. They have a good chance at winning the NFC East. Right now Philly and NY SUCK, and their only competition seems to the Redskins.

They all got traded? Damn, I thought Moore and Morton retired. Why on earth would anyone get rid of them? Unless they were too old, they were the backbone of the team.
And Brian Westbrook.. Is he on the 'skins now? I'm so bad with names, but I swear I hear that name often. Where did Terry Fair go?

10-3 Chiefs. Should've been 10-7, but Porter couldn't stretch for the pass.....
Could be another finish like yesterday's NYG vs Philly.....

Morton is with KC now. I always liked his play, and now he is an old man and they don't just make him run the slant.

What, you think Porter is 7'5''?
Tuisasoppo just missed a wide open Porter.

I'm going to go out on a limb and take Carolina over Indy for making it to the superbowl. The NFC has less competition than the AFC this year. Though it is by no means easy. Minny and St. Louis are serious threats, not to mention Dallas. As for Seattle- well I admit I'm not convinced.

Holy Crap! Raiders were down by 7 and then Buchanon muffed catching a punt and the Chiefs recovered on the 10 yard line... wow... can't make that mistake.

HOLY CRAP!!
Tuisassoppo (however you spell it) led the Raiders back. Oakland was down 17-10, and #8 (that's better ) led them down the field and the LAST PASS was at the 1 foot line! It was like the Rams v. Titans in the Super Bowl a few years back!

 Jeff George.
Be afraid, Denver fans. Be very afraid.

I forgot to rant about Atlanta earlier this week.
First of all let me say Michael Vick is overrated. I said the same about McNabb. Is there a trend there . No. They just happen to both be overrated. I think some white QB's are overrated as well. Esp. Hasselback. So don't be thinking I'm like a conservative talk show host now
Vick does have enourmous talent of course. But the problem with players like him is they take up too much attention, and sometimes can be a distraction to the team. He garners so much medida attention, the media practically made the team of Atlanta Falcons- the Mike Vike show. They often act like there isn't a team.
What this leads to is obvious. Lack of teamwork. And when things go awry and their star is injuried, the media and the players lose faith in the ability of the team to win. I feel this problem is lessened with a team without a "star" QB. Look at Minnesota. They won with a reject Redskins QB filling in for the talented, but not overhyped, (not after last season) Culpepper.
This is why I really don't like it when one player is overhyped. This is a team sport after all.
In Summary: The Falcons suck. You can't build a team around one player.

Tomorrows games should be interesting.
I'm interested in seeing how Denver's 4th string QB will fare. That is the most interesting thing to watch for tomorrow.
But I heard on the radio about the teams the Cowboys have beaten. Essentually they are saying the Cowboys schedule has been real easy so far. The Bucs are angry, and I think they could spank the Cowboys like the red-headed stepchildren the Cowboys are.

Interesting. The officials goofed in the Indy/Bucs game a couple of weeks ago.
Maybe Indy wouldn't have had such a great 4th quarter comeback after all.

This is a VERY simplified look at the Falcons situation. Mike Vick is overrated, but not by much. Vick hid the fact that the offensive line of Atlanta is HORRIBLE. Because Vick was so fast and could throw very well on the run, he hid that deficiency.
Johnson is a pocket passer, and the line's problems show more obviously.
Of course, this means there are more 3 and outs, which means the Defense is on the field more, which results in a tired D giving up too many points.
The conclusion is that Vick makes this team a contender and without him they ARE nothing. It has nothing to do with teamwork, but everything to do with how talented their star is.
In conclusion, without Vick the Falcons are not that great of a team. He hides a LOT of problems with that offense because of his great talent. If he can stay healthy and get more talent in the OL, I'm sure he will go down as one of the greatest players in NFL history.

You mess up your own hypothesis. Culpepper IS a star QB and has been thought of one, even after his down year last year. There are plenty of teams with 'star' QBs that do well, even when that star gets hurt. Look at the Rams with Kurt Warner last year. Look at the Patroits with Drew Bledsoe a few years back, etc. "Star" QBs do not lead to a lack of teamwork.. in fact they can induce better teamwork. The Farve Packers and the Elway Broncoes looked much more like a team than before the star QBs got there.

Who would have thought at the beginning of the season that Pennington might be in a game before Vick would be this year.
Some good match ups this Week... and the Bears are actually favored... OH BOY

now after I dissed Hasselback as being overrated he puts together an impressive drive for Seattle. 4 out of 5 and a TD pass.
For some reason, I'm still not convinced about Seattle. I'm sure they can beat up on easy teams like Cincy and SF, but we will see when they play the big boys.
Same with the Cowboys. I picked the Bucs because the Cowboys have yet to beat a real quality team yet this year. Though the Bucs defense still looks too weak and pourous. But they finally stopped the drive.

I'm rooting for the Bucs because I picked them, and I'm a fan.
But it should would be nice if my kicker could hit a field goal.

I guess Kanell is starting for the Broncos. It shows him 2/4 so far. The Broncos lead the Ravens 3-0.
I thought it would be interesting to start a 4ths tring QB, but I guess it won't happen.
