*bang* you're dead.
Tough luck, mate. At least you're delivering a decent performance again in the Lombardi League.

And what's even more annoying: We lost all three games the EXACT SAME ****ING WAY. New Orleans gest the early advantage as McAllister can run the ball, Pittman can't, and we can't avoid TURNING THE GODDAMN THING over; we come back in the fourth quarter when the NO run attack and pass defense fail; the Black Devils find a way to win in the end. (Last year, it was the protection breakdown in the end zone on a punt, this year Carney hits a field goal he should have missed by all rights, since they didn't think he could do it with four more yards in front of him.)
It makes my blood boil, especially since Carolina laid an egg bomb in Houston today and we're not going to have many more opportunities to make up that two-game deficit since Carolina's schedule is so ridiculously easy. If we lose next week... kiss the division title goodbye. Hope Delhomme's got a good insurance plan. He's going to need it...

Well, I was going to mention here that Carolina and Tampa play the same teams except for 2. Then I found the 2 teams who are different: Tampa plays Green Bay and San Francisco, Carolina plays Detroit and Arizona.
But still, win againt Carolina next week and you're just 1 back. And in this case, losing to SF helps in the tie breakers later. Then again, those 2 Saints losses will hurt (assuming they choke in NO next time)
Steve Superior...I mean Spurrier should be given all the time he needs, cause it won't make any difference in the result.
And the Bears??? Don't make me laugh. That was a weak 13-3 if you ask me. Last year was more their place

stop kissing Brett Favre's ass announcers.
Why do they still continue to say he's the best QB in the NFL?

Do you know what the win percentage for teams that are +3 or better in the turnover column (over the last i don't know how many years)? 96% percent.
That said, Big D turns the ball over 4 times? or was it 5? And STILL COMES AWAY WITH THE WIN.
KC and da Boys in the superbowl. I think Parcels is going to be a venerable God in Dallas.
PARCELS FOR PRESIDENT!!!!

Kaak, you're insane. They're at least a year away.
Parcells is doing a great job, but they need to learn how to win. (Mostly, that means Quincy.) This off-season, they'll fill in the missing pieces.
But, with a pretty sad division, the post-season is a strong possibility for this year. And I fully (and very grudgingly) expect to see them in the big game sometime in the next 1-3 years.

I don't know whether to be happy or sad. I'm happy Doug Flutie tried to pull a comeback, but he's 41! Why don't they just let Brees play out the stretch?
Congrats Ming. Your Bears have another win.

what was that about offensive genious? I know the Rams have injuries. but they are way too inconsistant. They won last week with the same injuries. Yet are losing to a team that lost to Arizona.
|
As far as I know only Don Shula can claim an undefeated season . And losing to a team that lost to 'Zona? That same team beat Tampa. And the main problem was those two incredibly costly INTs by Bulger.
St. Louis is gonna lose a few games when they are without their starters (like Arlen Harris would start for ANY team in the league).

Delhomme held up pretty well the last time he played against the Bucs... and as long as Davis is ok they won't even care .

Because he beats a 6-1 team with a BROKEN THUMB! Jeez, man, this guy is Superman! Mary picked the wrong dude!
Farve is getting old and a bit worse than in his prime, but once in a while he'll show off why he is a first ballot Hall of Famer.

Yet they did... they were very overrated in the beginning of the season and they've shown it. Their D STILL has huge holes and not even O'Leary can cover it for long.
