I thought I was toast for sure when I saw San Deigo was up by 14 in the 2nd half thankfully they blew it

I'm a fan of Flutie and the Chargers. What a disappointment. The announcers even said, they were up by 14 with 6 minutes to go, unfamiliar territory for a young team.
What's the deal with their porous defense?

Well, hopefully FOG will hang in there, since a couple of teams that were doing well seemed to have no-shows on their rosters.
Too bad!

hmm, maybe the Colts are for real.
I had my doubts when they struggled against the browns.
If they continue to dominate this game, I will be convinced.

Well the Saints have sucked so far this year. I think the Colts are DEFINITE playoff material, though. Though it'll have to be a Wild Card, because Tennessee looks amazing.

I think Indy looks amazing. I'm glad I'm not playing against Manning today in our Fantasy league... but happy that I'm playing Harrison

Hooray! Colts win 55 - 21...
Is that the first half-century of the season so far?

I think it may be. KC and Denver have put 40 up, IIRC, but no one with 50+.
Btw, Plummer is looking very good lately in Denver.

Yep.. so far this season I'm REALLY looking forward to the AFC South (TN and Indy) and AFC West (KC and Den) races.

Well... all the undefeated teams that played today won.
And yeah... it's amazing how good Plummer can look what you surround him with a real football team

With the way the Packers played last week, I'm not so sure.

In all the many pools I'm in, I took the Packers.
Let's look at history:
The Bears haven't beaten the Packers in years...
The Bears suck on Monday Night Football...
The Bears suck this year...
GO BEARS

The Colts need to win the next two games to have a shot at winning AFC South, namely Carolina @ home, and Bucs on the road. I honestly think that if the Colts play as well as they did today, they can win both of these games and go on to win AFC South, possibly even the AFC.

Now that was the Peyton Manning I was hoping I'd get when I drafted him
Too bad this is all gonna be smoke by the end of next week, however... the experts are all gonna crow about Indy this week and anoint them the strongest team in the NFL, and then Tampa will put Indy in its place and bring 'em back to earth

A great thank-you to all you guys. It's tough to follow your team over here, with nothuing but the scores given in Monday morning's papers, and any action in the middle of the night. I'm very grateful to you for keeping me informed on the fortunes of this particular team so far, and hope you'll continue to do so. My favourite posts in these threads are those when you're obviously watching or listening to the games: "INTERCEPTION!"

Parcells continues to impress.
He's already done things I considered impossible.
Hambrick has shut up, and Parcells knows how to use him.
Quincy Carter continues to make advances in learning how to use the pocket.

They played a team that had no RB for the game.
That made it a lot easier to wake up.

Yeah...if anything has been proven this year it's the obvious: a team's fortunes rest on the fortune's of its running game.
I can't think of one team doing well right now that doesn't have a good ground game, with the one-off exceptions of Minnesota (fair to middlin', with a huge dose of Moss) and Indy (complete air dominance) yesterday. What the hell is Buffalo going to do? I guess it works to my advantage, as I have Bledsoe, but I always like the lunch pail teams and hate to see them take an Icarus-like plunge.

Alright, I had McNair with 300 + passing and 3 tds, Tomlinson with 200+ and 3 tds, and Moss with 172 yards receiving and 3 tds.
If I don't get my first win this week, I don't know what the hell I have to do....

I have McNair as well... and sat him. Which is a good thing since I played Bulger, who had a better game in our scoring system. Between Bulger and Harrison, and a bunch of average smucks, I had the most points this week... and I still have two players going tonight. A great week for fantasy football... which is good, since I sucked the big one in all the football pools

Based on available talent, that would have to be San Diego.
