Yes, this was my worst week in pools EVER. And to make it worse, I was so confident that I didn't vary my picks much across the 4 pools so I did equally bad in all of them.

I have no idea how the Bears can give us such sh*t year in and year out.

Better than just going all over the place willy-nilly.

They played a team that had no RB for the game.

What was Detroit's excuse?

Well you never know with history.
1. The last time the Bears opened a new stadium in CHICAGO (soldiers field) they kicked butt in the first game. So history works both ways.

Well... at least the Packers look like they suck this year too... I hope the team that lost to the cards and vikings shows up tonight. But then again, nobody can suck as bad as the Bears have so far this year

rah, I would be surprised as h*ll if the bears won any games this year. They are a miserable excuse for a team. It almost seems they have no talent whatsoever on the team, with one exception. How is this possible given that they have been near the top of the draft now for more than a decade?

Remember that the Bears were the CHAMPION of their division just 2 years ago. (not an early draft pick the next year)
They suck, but I think they'll win at least 3 games.

The whole Kordell signing was just such a 'Bears' move. They so should have drafted Leftwich.

You should check out NFL.com
They give up to date coverage and provide all the stats.
You can follow on specific game, and get play by play reports, while all the other scores are shown at the top of the page. When a team moves into the red zone, a red box appears around the score so you can switch to following that game if you want. I used to follow them on ESPN.com, but it's be bad on Sundays... while NFL.com is just fine. Heck, for a little bit of money, you can subscribe and actually hear the play by play

You want me to pay for something on the internet .
Actually, though, I bet with some research you can find which radio station carries the game and hopefully they have a website with broadcast .

I forgot my suicide pick, although I would have won if I had remembered.
I think Chicago is going to keep it close enough for me to gain my second Lombardi win in the last 3 weeks.

It's, not me.
In fact, Ming was one of the 3 that picked aheaf of me.
I remember wondering what drove him to pick early in week, because he usually waits until later in the week.
Verify for me, Ming. Did you pick early in week?

Just admit it--you either spaced it off completely, or, in your stoney stupor, forgot to hit the "go" button.
What a maroon.

Whatever, Cheech. Or is it Chong?

Look, no one (except your justly pissed teammates) is going to hold it against you if you just admit you got a good bag of Indica instead of that Sativa you usually get, drank a couple of extra Coors and became convinced you actually made the picks or hit the button.
We've all been there.
I myself have often been ashamed of what I consider to be pure genius posting that turns out, the next day, to be quite incomprehensible and not very funny at all.

I had a decent week in Lombardi: 8 right so far. Me and Sloth have to pick up the slack this week for reismark .

7 thus far... catching up with the pack after missing Week One.
So, Bears Packers start soon at Soldier Field... why didn't the Bears spend the $600M odd on improving the team?
In an unrelated note, why does ESPN still show that United Way ad with Vinny Testeverde the magician. It's lost it's touch after Vinny's shocker this year so far :P

Well, by next week, Ole' (and I mean ole') Vinny will pass Joe Montana on the all time passers list. It's kinda magical he hasn't been killed yet .

The kids couldn't hurt Jack
They tried and tried and tried
They dropped things on his back
And lied and lied and lied and lied and lied
Besides that, Vinnie passed Johnny U. LAST week.
Big whoop, he's still a stiff.
