			****ing bears
can't they possibly stop a simple pass play?

I can't believe they allowed 3 td passes. Luckily Brett had 1 int and only 179 in passing. Hopefully he won't get up to 21 points.

			you know.
I actually liked Jim Miller. He was really hooking up with Marty Booker at one point.

Bring him back dammit
I really am pissed now that I drafted Marty Booker. They have no one to throw to him!

Replace Pack with Colts and I'd say the same
And I get to see them next Tuesday afternoon, too |

sigh... my analysis is in the other thread...
I think the AFC is going to win the Super Bowl this year. The Chiefs and the Colts are very good. So are the Bills, although they stumbled this week.

even with Henry in, the Bills running game sucks.
face it, the Bills are going nowhere this year.

I predict they will go down in the playoffs to Tennessee again. another music city mircale

I wouldn't count the Bills out yet... they have a potent offense and their defense is looking better with Spikes and Malloy.

Do you mean the Colts will go down to Tennesse?? The Bills weren't in the playoffs last year. And BTW, if you do mean the Colts, I suggest you look at what happened earlier this season between Indy and the Titans...

			no I meant the Bills
the music city miracle was in the year 2000 (I'm pretty sure).

I was really rooting for Tennesee that year. but they went down to St. Louis.

As for the Colts? Well I'm impressed. They struggled against the browns more than I would ahve liked. but I've always been a Peyton Manning fan. And I wish him well. I like it that the coach allows him to call audibles (except in goal line situations I believe). If they continue that, we can expect many more TD passes this year.

How the hell could they spend 600M$ on just refurbishing? We built a brand new one (Ford Field) for just over half that, and it's just about as nice.

Oh, and Chicago? There's a good reason why Kordell was let go by the steelers....

While Kordell has sucked so far this year... It's really hard to evaluate his performance due to the crappy offensive line. He is under serious preasure on every play. It looks like he sucks... but it's not all his fault.

Good start.

Bring back Buddy Ryan.
Bring back Ditka.
Make McMahon the quarterback coach.

My God, but that defense looks bad. So many big holes for the running backs. So many wide open receivers right over the middle. Either the players suck or the coaching sucks, or both.

For generations the Bears fielded good to great defenses. It is their trademark. It is hard being a Bear fan and seeing this.

It was pretty funny when the Bears crept back within 8 points. Madden & Michaels were falling all over themselves saying "suddenly we've got a ballgame" and "it's now a one-possession game."
My reaction -- "That possession's coming up right now." And the Pack scored within a couple minutes. Then scored again.
I must admit, I love the way Green Bay goes about their business. Take the crowd out of the game early, and never let them back in.

At the end, they pour it on. Attacking the end zone with a 22-point lead and under 10 minutes to go. This is a team that has a winning attitude and understands the value of unabated aggression. When your opponent is down, step on his throat!

Until he retires, they might as well start calling the new digs "Favre Field".

(WTF happened to the Pack against Arizona???????)

It was also nice to see Madden noting just how often Urlacher was either being blocked out of a play, or overran it on his own. (Unlike the previous week on Sunday night, when Paul McGuire couldn't stop praising him despite all evidence to the contrary.)
Without the 2-Ton Tandem in front of him, Urlacher's not much of a difference maker.

was it. R.W. McQuarters last year who screwed up being greedy to get the TD for himself?
I remember just before halftime last year chicago was running an INT back for a touchdown. I can't remember the exact details, but I think R.W. McQuarters got in some trouble and didn't lateral the ball even when there was an open man next to him. He was tackled and time ran out in the half.

 selfish play.

You got it assbackwards wrong. McQuarters, instead of blocking, positioned himself for the lateral instead on an INT runback and got the guy who caught the ball tackled.

Since some of the discussions continue... I've just changed the name of the thread...
Week 5 is ready to begin...
6 Teams remain undefeated. And there are some great matchups this week.

The Monday night game looks like it will be a "fun" game... and HAS to better and more entertaining than last week's Monday Night game.

Are you ready for some football

I'm interested to see how my Lions turn out this week again Mooch's old team, who are struggling.
They lost a close one at Denver last week, and hopefully, finally we can finally get a road win.
