Yes, the Raiders do indeed suck...
And once again, I can't believe how many games have gone wrong for me. New Orleans gets a backdoor cover, the Chiefs get the ball on downs with a one-point lead deep in Broncos territory and kneel it out (where's the killer instinct, Vermeil?), Seattle lays a goose-egg... good god.
The only one that truly matters, though, is tomorrow...

The Bears won? Stopping wasting a good draft pick!
Even worse, if the Bears win enough games, Angelo and Jauron may be allowed to keep their jobs for next year.

And hey held Rich Gannon to no touchdowns

why o why don't I trust my instincts? I knew Oakland was going to implode this year. But I never trust my instincts. Why do I do that? I went with a coin toss and drafted Rich Gannon I had a hunch the superbowl was an omen.
And virtually none of the teams are covering the spread this week Don't these coaches know they have to cover the spread

Da Bears would be a hard opponent to not get over-confident about playing.
As evidenced.

I'd rather the Cubs win than Da Bears.
Bears in danger of losing 1st pick in next draft now.
Too bad. WTG.

Not being much of a football fan, I chanced on the very end of the Eagles game. The coach needs to do some yelling at his players; they were doing their best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
#1, for all the pumping fist that the Eagles did on the failed 2-point conversion, that totally wasn't their doing. The QB wasn't under much pressure and the reciever was mostly open, he just threw high. Wow, awesome job, folks. That wouldn't work against a better team.
#2, on the onside kick, the IDIOT on the Eagles who get it actually tried to return it for 10 yards or so. What was he thinking?! There were 14 seconds left in the game. You find the ball and lie on it. You can't possibly lose. If you run the ball, you might get jarred and fumble it.

not looking too good for the Browns. By not looking good, I mean it is looking real good for the Browns to win, and for yours truelly to win the suicide picks
hey it's worth it to miss yet another pick, in order to win the suicide pick.
But I miss yet another pick. After a solid 3 weks, I am doing terrible the last 2 weeks. Nobody covered the spreads today except for a few teams.

How do you think I feel, on my bench is David Boston, who only had 181 yards recieving and 2 TDs. Now THIS was the player I drafted. Chances are I won't see this again .

yeah, Boston had a monster game.
and I really thought the chargers would win that game. They were close last week. I think something broke when they didn't get the win last week. They are in for a miserable season.

Well, I never thought the Bears could win a game. My God but Oakand must be awful this year.
Carolina remains undefeated, but no one is talking about them. It's all KC, the Vikings, the Colts and Tampa Bay. One guy even said that there are only 3 undefeated teams left. I am sure he was thinking about KC, Minn. and Indianapolis. But Carolina has a very impressive defense and a strong running attack. This team is winning like Baltimore did a few years ago. That team got absolutely no respect until it walked off the field with a Super Bowl victory. Are we seeing history repeat itself?

The problem is Carolina is that it really doesn't have star power, so most people don't talk about them. KC has Holmes, Minnesota has Moss & Culpepper, Indianapolis has Manning & Harrison. Carolina's biggest star is Stephen Davis, who isn't really that big of a name.

Imran, who do they have on that defense? They are the stars, or at least, should be.

GO VIKINGS!
It's a nice problem to have, but Frerotte is doing so well and Culpepper still has to come back. What can we do?

As for Carolina, they are talented, but I still don't see them going very far. But beating Tampa Bay is impressive. But their passing game is still not that great. Picking up Stephen Davis has proved to be a very, very good move for them.
I am very suprised their defense has improved this much though. After losing Michael Barrow a few years ago to the Giants, their defense hasn't been great. But I guess they have picked up a few players. I sure wish they would show a Panthers game .
They should make the playoffs. They may even make it to the championship game. But I just can't see them going to the superbowl.

Are the Browns the most enigmatic team in the league or what?
They lose to the Colts and the Ravens, then they beat the 49'ers, followed by a loss to the Bengals, and yesterday they slaughtered the Steelers on the road.
OK, some of it is division-related stuff, but I still think it's a weird string of games/results.

I can't believe no flag was thrown on Dante Hall's 93-yd punt return for KC. He was sprung when #25 blocked 2 Denver guys in the back on the 5 yd line.
I know this sort of thing happens all the time, but Hall is a player who doesn't need help from the refs...

Don't get greedy, Imran. I need Peyton to have a 3 TD, error-free night tonight against the Bucs to beat you, and I think the Red Sox are going to win the World Series before that happens. Be thankful that the Cleveland D and your RBs, esp. Portis, had such good days...
