Chasing after the people on the 'B' land.

If we get flexibility it's time to consider whether we want to go after the faction that's put B's all over their map with probes.

First order of business would be be getting infiltration. From what I have read and what I have seen in many turn tracking threads. Having infiltration can make or break a game.

The idea is to rush a transport foil near the next base site near Utopia Base. Fill it up with 2 speeder probes. Then send it to the area that Buster has suggested as belonging to the University.

First probe will get infiltration. Second probe will attempt to steal a tech.

The time frame we have to work in is fairly short, if we get mobility there is a case where we get flexibility in 2141, and we will build the foil in 2143.

That's 4 years from now during which the 2 probe teams have to be built and moved into position. It may take 2-3 years moving the probes from where they were built to the base building the foil.

So what are people's opinions?

Really, we should do this with all speed and surprise. We can only gain from the action. If we infilterate, and they don't have a tech we want, then the second probe should lurk in fungus untill they do.

Also how about a foil probe to infiltrate the pirates?

Yes, but nothing else for the monemt, we want to keep them friendly. I wonder why they havn't tried to infilterate US yet?

I assume they have if they're pacted with the CyCon, who tried to build the VW.

Why do you assume they haven't?

Infiltration isn't a "vendetta-causing" offence so there's no need to report it

Well the pirates in their diplomatic messages said flexibility is rare. Also Googlie mentioned they'll probably avoid trading flexibility until they get a decisive advantage on the sea. So we can probably assume that flexibility isn't a common tech among the other factions. The pirates only just met us and still haven't found any of our bases. In fact I've been avoiding coastal bases near the south of our continent.

If we're already infiltrated there's not much we can do about it. We're getting probe defences in pretty soon.

I assume they haven't because they would have told their CyCon Pactmates about the VW being built, and well, I just don't have that infilterated feeling.
