Pedia.txt
Is there anyway to get the pedia.txt to work right under FW? Expecially the terrain section when the terrain has been modified.

I changed around the unit description for Anstieg I believe. You need to rename the units in there to what they are in the rules though I think.

Yeah, I got the units section working OK but the pedia window for terrain doesn't even open. I thought at first I had made and error in the describe.txt but I found that this was not the case. In fact in every scenario (X-Com for example) where the terrain is renamed this same bug occurs. I was wondering if it is a problem with my copy or if everyone experienced this.

No, the only part of the pedia where a description can be present is in the improvements and government area. The terrain descriptions cannot be added. Same for the units.
