But Francis Tyers, a 20-year-old University of Wales student, who studies in Aberystwyth but is currently on placement with the computer giant Hewlett Packard in Ireland, said Alaska would have been his first choice. "I specified on my membership form that I would move when they had legalised the cultivation of marijuana. I'm hoping that this will be one of the first things on their agenda. And secession from the United States would be great," he said.

Aberystwyth, huh...

Shush! It's all quite interesting, really! They're volounteers for a social engineering project! I wish I could be as brave as they are! (or have enough similarly-minded people to join a project of our own)

Well I'm hoping the Free Staters will have some sense and not make heroine legalization their first agenda item. I'm sure they'll have many projects to work on before legalizing prostitution and hard drugs. But then again, they are libertarians.... so I may be wrong.

Though I can't see a bunch of libertarians moving to NH en masse, especially because most people move to where there is work. Why would a successful Libertarian move from a place where he is all settled with a job to a place where he may not get anywhere near the same job? Seems totally unrealistic to me.
