How many of you have been playing since this forum opened?
Who remains from the old timers? How big is your country now, and how many times have you decided whether or not to cut down the forests for the logging industry?

Well, I joined you on May 6th, 2003. I guess this is quite a time...
Anyway, my nation now has 821 million inhabitants and indeed, I have cut all those trees for Uranium mines two times before. But it doesn´t matter, since whenever you decide for the other option, all those great rain forest area return within some hours

Since Jan. Was on 'poly (Civ3 mainly) before realising this forum was here. Think I followed a link through somebody's sig. Never thought Ceroo would still be going after this long, pop is nearly 1.6 billion.
We NEVER cut down the forests in Ceroo!!!

Been on Poly for about 3 years, got to know NationStates through a post on the Off-Topic forum. Don't remember exactly when, but it was some time early this year and not too long after ceroomaster. Guardinia has about 1.5 billion people now, and we don't cut down our rainforests either.

This game has become so damn boring I don't understand what's the purpose of keeping this whole forum alive

What I meant was how many times have you gotten the cut down the rainforest issue.
I'm surprised to see people still around from the begining

Shouldn't we kill this forum? It's becoming such a sad place...

I've been here since the 26th of December 2002, my oldest nation now has a pop of over 1.6 billion, and I haven't the faintest idea how many times I've got the 'cut down the rainforest' issue.

Frozzy: Nope, aahz joined a few days after it was started. The first members were Akiria, Sovietski Soyuz (Tassadar) and Redfern (red_jon).
And yes, we might want to lose the forum now. There is little point keeping it IMHO.

I started Admaria in January, and joined this forum when it started. As of now, Admaria has 1.588 billion citizens, and I cut down part of the forest twice, IIRC, before adopting the policy of never allowing any of it to be cut down at all. No clue on how many times I've done the latter.

I've never allowed it to be cut, nor my animals eaten, nor my beaches privitised. I have one of the worlds best environments
And yes, this is officially deemed a spam paradise

Never allowed the forest to be cut as well... with the only exception of one time that I have picked the middle-way option.
My animals are protected species
I never got the beach issue (well never before I stopped playing...)
Right now the Kingdom of Wine has 1.61 billions (started one day after Drogue created the region) but I stopped playing since like the middle of August, (right now I just log in every so often just to keep my nations alive)

wow, things really died off here.
I did continue playing after the forum was opened. But I have since given my country over to another poster.

This forum is fusion power! Unlimited, clean resources of +1, allow people to post meaningless quotes without polluting the environment, preventing ecological catastrophes such as Ming Hurricanes and U-R-Toast Floods!

I have played for a long time with 3 countries.
I'm surprised I have any trees left in Uberlandia. Oh right, I've been annexing my neighbors.
Capitolocracy is still capitalizing and Librocracy is alive and not chopping down trees.

well the novelty is starting to wear off a little ... can only pass so many issues before they seem trivial.....
but it does pass the time at work , being one of the few games i can play at work ,

Are the brand-new user issues being used by the site?
