Pholus Mutagen Vid Crashed SMAX

I have the planetary pack and it seems that when I complete the Pholus Mutagen the game crashes.

Anyone else seen this?
Anyone worked out how to fix it?

It contains both SMAC and SMAX.

MM is correct.
It is basically just another way of getting your hands on a good version of SMAX.
