I said IIRC! Must have been some other useless stat I mixed it up with.

Never mind, doesn't change the fact that Radiohead are the worst band ever to have recorded anything and have done more damage to music than Pink Floyd, Yes and Genesis combined.

By the sounds of their daft angst and nasal whining it sounds like Coldplay have been heavily influenced by Radiohead, which is a damning indictment in itself.

Wow, opposite sentiment but just as pretentious. Good show.

I thought for sure this was about Buck, but it's not. Still he showed up, so I got what I wanted.

I liked this review better:

Quote:
The lyrics of the opening track, Everything In It's Right Place would make better sense written on a urinal wall - at least you could piss on them. Like the birdie song, Kid A fails to engage me at all. It left me cold, shaking and gently drooling on the floor. Thank god the office cleaner found me in time. I've heard better tunes than The National Anthem from my digital watch, on the hour, every hour.

Track five, Treefingers sounds just like little bits of aural **** dripping into my brain and I can't believe it was supposed to. Call it an unfortunate accident or something. It is difficult to stop yourself from throwing a brick at your CD player when tosh like Optimistic comes out of it on a regular basis. Track 9, Morning Bell is simply terrible. That's it, no further explanation needed.

In fact, I despise every second of Radiohead's creation.

Pantera also was #1 on the album charts with Far Beyond Driven.

Can anyone name a hit from that album?

didn't think so.

Wasn't Tool supposed to be the worst band ever?

Ha ha, Snapcase can't even keep his own poncey musical opinions in order

Elvis, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Solomon Burke, Beach Boys, The Kinks, David Bowie, Bruce Springstreen, loads of old rockers from Chuck Berry to Bo Diddley, KISS, Cheap Trick, Sam & Dave, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, The Temptations, Al Green, loads of girl groups from The Ronettes to the Shangri-Las, The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, The Clash, Just about anything Gram Parsons was involved with (Late Byrds, FBB, solo), Desmond Dekker, Napalm Death, Talking Heads, T-Rex.

Plus loads of bands I kinda like of course, including CCR, who I think did some great stuff. And probably shitloads I've forgotten all about.

Tool is the subjectively worst band to have recorded music. Radiohead are up there in virtue of their social effects, dahling! You wouldn't understand!

But surely Steppenwolf's discursive regression impacts on the stability of their auras?

So, what you're saying is that we should be looking at the overproduced, bland Snapcase music opinions instead of the raw, energetic live versions.

It is, but it is also the name of a live 8-track album they released after Amnesiac, with songs from Kid A, Amnesiac, and my favourite Radiohead track, previously unreleased and never studio recorded, True Love Waits.

Much of it was recorded at the famous Southpark Homecoming 2000 gig in Oxford.
