Nope. I said it finished at 8, not that it would be posted by then. The answers will be coming very shortly. Just finishing the last tabbing.

I said "almost, but not quite, entirely unlike Vogon poetry". I suppose you can interpret that as an expletive to the effect of "bad".

Now, I may not like their music, but Evanescence is a bloody good name for a band, what with turds for names like Insane Clown Posse or whatever roaming around.
Has nothing to do with the "Eva-" part either. It just somehow sounds nice. And it's one of those fancy words assigned to things used to describe with whole sentences - "the act of fading away from sight". It also rhymes with "Renaissance", which has to count as something.
A grave mistake that cost me thirteen points. Blast.

That is what won it for you in the end. There was only you for that with 12 people counted. 4 of the last 5 agreed with you though. Until then, mrmitchell was winning.

I was unsure of that and one other ("not as good as the book") but I thought they would go in there. I am still not sure of it, but seeing how low points you scored, I thought you needed it More importantly, when what they meant came through quite clearly, I put it as that. Therefore, it was obvious that "like Vogon poetry" was meant as a HHGttG way of saying bad. Whereas overbudget was not included as that does not necessarily mean bad, merely that it cost more than expected.

But it's very hard to spell, and pronounce. It makes it stand out possibly, but makes it very hard to communicate.

Yes. I thought there would be more of a competition between the two, with mrmitchell and IW playing, but they were both sensible

I had counted that one already in. If I had picked #apolyton, I'd have got 14 points (13 others plus me), but now that I took #cgn, I got only one. Doesn't that mean a net loss of 13 or am I missing something?
