It's Ashley Judd.
And I have no idea what that is on her cheek. I hope it's not a case of "birth mark gone mad".

I only asked because the current avatar seems to be the most "natural" photo - ie, without make-up, and that was the only one with the mark in.
What films has she been in (apart from the Monroe one referred to earlier)?

I've only seen one of her films Double Jeopardy. When I saw her in that she looked so much like an ex-girlfriend it was uncanny. The attraction has never been lost since.
She was in a couple of other films, but I've never seen them, nor remember their names.
She also appeared in a couple of episodes of Star Trek:TNG. I'd thought the actress was attractive back then, but I didn't realise it was actually Ashley Judd until I rewatched the episode a couple of years ago.

The mark on her cheek is to show allegiance in some sporting event in Kentucky or involving a Kentucky team, or somesuch.

Here is the full-quality version if that helps.
I managed to get it transparent, but the shadow and the tiger's body moved side to side, rather than its head. Dammit.

About avatars...
I think animated gifs should be banned together with guys using pretty women...
There, I said it.
Edit: and i'm not even talking about people that use Mariah WhatsHerName

I don't think I'm on Hueij's list of good avatars then.
Since I joined, all my avatars have either been animated or of pretty women.

You don't recognize Betty Page when you see her?
What are you, a dirty commie baby-napper?
