Now Playing:
"Art of Dying" by George Harrison
An extremely fun song. The man's a god.

Actually, I prefer True Love Waits, it's earlier, but unreleased. Creep is great, but then I like much of their stuff.

I wish American music like that got more airtime. Sometimes they have specials on PBS. Some of those bluegrass bands are amazing.
Alison Krauss was worth the price of that disc by herself.
I never knew that more pot is smoked at bluegrass concerts than at any other kind of concert, including reggae.

My playlist is so long an eighth of it would be more songs than any band I like has made
NP: Shuggie Otis - Freedom Flight (he's the guy that did the Diet Coke ads to those uncultured/young brits that haven't heard of him)

What are you listening to now?

Screams of passion from your mom.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Today's listening experiences have been provided by:
Lucinda Williams: Happy Woman Blues
Hector Zazou & Various Artists: Songs From the Cold Seas
Sheila Chandra: The Zen Kiss
Nina Simone: Wild is the Wind and 'Nuff Said!
Isaac Hayes: Hot Buttered Soul
Brian Eno: Music For Fans Vol. IV

In my bag:
Dizzee Rascal - Boy In Da Corner
DJ Assault - Jefferson Ave.
VA - Who Will Buy (These Wonderful Evils) [just got it back from someone I'd lent it to, not really listening to it as such.]
VA - Trojan Revive Box Set
Luciano - Don't Get Crazy
L'il Jon & The East Side Boys - Put Yo Hood Up
VA - Testify! The Gospel Box [borrowed from public library]
and of course a coveted, limited-edition copy of the now-infamous Sonic Undermind They've Created A Moster EP.

What's the point of that screenshot, aside from letting us laugh at Bon Jovi's entry?
