I've done the actual game moves and put it in my forum, but I'm pressed for time because of real life issues. So leaving it to my team to do all the post-turn stuff.

It's asking for Chairman Voltaire's password, once again. If you'll provide me with the password, I'll promise not to complain next time.

I have asked the PUT for an explanation regarding the delay, and whether further time is requested

Is this their first or second offense regarding turn time? Surely if they have no provided an excuse that has been accepted by Googlie in the 48 hours, that is a penalty, to be applied 12 hours after the time limit has passed (at 9:17 GMT, in 7 and a half hours) according to this and this poll. If this is their first offence, then the penalty should be a formal warning, according to this poll, and if it is not their first offense the penalty should be that Googlie opens the turn, presses 'end turn' and posts it, according to this poll. Obviously Googlie has his discression, but I thought these polls should be shown again. And IIRC PUT has once before gone over the 48 hours without explanation? Or am I mistaken?

I think PUT is record holder by a wide margin in passing the 48 hour deadline...
If they are over the deadline because they are discussing some important stuff that came up late, grant them more time I guess.
If they are over the deadline because no one in PUT is active or willing to play the turn, just press "Turn Complete" and send the turn to us...

I would give them the benefit of the rules. They have 48 hours, then a warning, then another 12 and then it is a formal warning for a first offense, and an end turn for a second or subsequent. I was not sure if they have had a formal warning from Googlie, or if they didn't have a reason last time.
Either way, it is up to Googlie, and being lenient may be necessary, but I wanted to post the rules we voted on at the begining so that every can see what they are.

It seems I'm the only one around, so I had to play the turn. Unfortunately, I had loaded the turn earlier to be able to give comments on it, so one or more reload warning are expected. I'm very sorry for the delay.

Apologies for the delay, we're having crew problems turning the fleet over to her new Cap'n (namely me ) but I hope to have the save ready by noon EDT.
(Sharing the computer with vactioning family hasn't helped me much either )

Diplomacy time!
And while that occurs I have more time to fiddle with the turn planning.

Sorry, I just realised I have 2 hours of tutorials. Then I'll spend 1 hour trawling through all the posts that appeared during the night. I tried reading them all but there's so many.... Then another hour changing a bunch of names for the Hive's dress up party.
So expect the turn to go out in 4 hours? That's still under 48 limit.

Hmm - this is what my log says as the turn posting time (Pacific Standard Time, or GMT-8, if you will):
13-10-2003 15:02
LOL - right - 26 hours!!
(I guess for me time stood still during my resignation term)

Turn on it's way by email to the Drones; message from the Cuspidore BB to the Hive (because I forgot to put it inthe commbox) : Semper ubi sub ubi.
Note that you will get a reload message - PaintShop and AC don't mix well at times

Houston - we have a Problem
The turn, Pirates to Drones, 2142, is actually the Hive's 2143 turn.
I don't know how the Drones' 2142 turn got skipped, but PEACE, if you have an end-of-turn save can you redo the "turn Complete" feature and confirm that it is the Drones, and not the Hive, that appear (and if so, repost)
